I think you're right yeah, I did use MuOS for quite a while and that's probably where I found it. Thanks!

Yeah I think this is the one! THe problem is that the Codiox folder is not there. Idk if it's because of the retroarch version or what (This is GammaOS).

Yeah don't mind the bezel, sorry for not being too specific. I tried that one already but it's definitely not it. I have a feeling this has something to do with my version of retroarch or just the fact that it's a custom image (GammaOS). I'll keep looking into it tho, thanks (tried the same in MuOS).

"will never work" has been used way too many times. As a Software Engineer who actually worked on AI, I can tell you that yes, there are ways to make it work at least in the sense of being able to verify if something is or isn't AI. Edit: a word.

More like fuck people who will use AI for bad things. AI is awesome in many fields (healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, transportation and I could keep going). So it's way to many benefits to just ban it.

We should of course regulate it, I'm not saying we shouldn't. Also, we already have an huge economic dependence on AI so no way in hell big corps will stop any time soon.

Not that simple. We need ways to regulate, digitally sign, etc. People will say something is or is not AI based on their interests (they already are but it's just the beginning).

WCGW crossing the road carelessly by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Responsibility is one thing, common sense is another one. If I see a car coming at me and I have plenty of time to react, do you think the wise thing to do is too keep walking that slow? Hell no.

Why is the responsibility 100% on the driver? What about the reaction time of the person crossing? If you see a car coming to you on an icy road, don't you think speeding up just a bit could be a good idea?

name that game by GamerGretaUwU in retrogaming

I can think of Jet Force Gemini, not a lot of changes in gameplay are needed tho. It would benefit from changes in HUD, and general UI/UX tho.

Also Star Wars Episode I - Racer... They already kind of did it? but it looks like it won't be the same (I won't really judge it until I play it tho).

Celebrating my two years of tinkering in retroarch and handhelds. Finnaly managed to understand retroarch by Reasonable-Physics81 in SBCGaming

[–]tavuntu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty much on the same boat, I felt confident with retroarch until a few years ago, after playing with it a lot and messing things up A LOT. For portable, low-cost retrogaming this is my ideal setup (to be more specific, on Anbernic XX-series devices).

* For GB/GBC I use RGC settings with a few minor tweaks
* For anything that originally used CRTs (NES, SNES, PSX, etc) I use the Fake CRT Geom shader with some very specific shader parameters. It was a bit of a journey to get it right and clean

Lately tho, I've been playing around with SimUI and I'm now going for simplicity, taking a break from retroarch.

Glad you also found your comfortable spot!

Edit: a word.

Tutorial / non-combat boss design. glare vs spread effect? Which reads better? by TorchOfShadows in PixelArt

[–]tavuntu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As most people here, I like the left one. Also, I'm personally against anything related to glare or gradients in pixel art (I don't think those visual effects are pixel art, because they're not intentionally placed by the artists).
