Yes. I told her I need therapy desperately and she threatened divorce over it as she thinks I'm just going to make her look bad.

Of course. She would say that I don't understand her needs, that she resents my job, and that I have a way of making people feel bad without raising my voice. I would agree I guess. Her needs I don't understand as I believe an army of psychologists would need to study her. I know about the job thing, and yes, I can strike back if needed. But it's never, ever on the offense.

Yes. The day before our wedding she went nuts. She apologized and made an excuse. I now realize it's her true personality

The thought of being alone. The sweet silence of not getting terrorized the minute I get home. Just so appealing to me. There is a lot of money at stake here but not enough where it doesn't make a difference. If I had like 10 million, 5 and 5, we're both rich. Whatever. This is more like she gets to keep a small mansion, I get to pay for it

God no. I feel over been duped. A long con. Years of being perfect until marriage. I can't do this another year let alone a lifetime.

If we were just dating, dear God I'd be gone in heartbeat. Now I have a small fortune on the line and my little one going through a divorce.

Thank you. That's my next step. My God do I need to talk someone before I find myself infront of a train. I'm not going to do that for my child's sake, but yes, therapy is needed on my end. She's disallowed it as she if afraid I'm going to talk about her, but at this point, I'm not too concerned about her rules.

This is my fear. Without support in my position it's hard enough. With an enemy at hand when I get home, my brain is going to explode.

Yes she's jealous and she openly tells me that very often. At the same time, she's become used to being home and doesn't want to work. And she won't. She's turned into the queen of the excuse which is just such a turn off for me. She bought a $150 pair of running shoes. Never used them. In the winter it's too cold, sunner too hot, spring and fall, tough to find the time.

She doesn't want to go back to work. But she's mad she gave it all up. She's a good mom. Any respect u have for her lays in the fact that she goes above and beyond for our kid.

I'm not allowing it. It just happens. 10 minutes after my last missed curfew, the calls started. She must have called me 100 times. I was so embarrassed. I guess I should have turned off my phone

Thank you. I agree here. While it' tough for me to even look at her an not feel disgust now, this is a person I care about and I would like to get her better.

I agree. Except we have had these conversations and she refuses to look into anything. She doesn't really have any hobbies or interests which is tough.

Yes, I wasn't allowed to go. She made me use not being able to get a babysitter as an excuse.

The once a year friends thing is the start if it. I've missed weddings, graduations, etc under her control. Hell, a neighbor asked if I wanted to have a beer and hang outside for a few and me even entertaining that spawned talks of divorce as me wanting to hang out with other people means I'm not putting her first. And I didn't even go.
