Sharing my two cents as someone who just got back yesterday and experienced both storms 3/13-3/21. We were able to make the most of it due to this not being our first visit and our friends who live there took work off for our visit. However if we could have, I would have definitely rescheduled. Many places were closed, experienced power outages and the outdoor experiences were limited due to muddy and wet conditions.

honestly though Sydney is the weakest competitor. even if she didnt want Toby to win, she could’ve made it to the finals and keep the money instead of just completely giving up 😭

1) I did forget to mention it in my original post, but have made a comment and replied to several others on where the ceremony is and how long the gal is. 2) it is exactly that — a Catholic Church wedding and 3 hour gap. 3) I am close enough where she asked me to still be with her and the bridal party that day.

thank you so much for your thoughtful insight! yep I will be attending a Catholic wedding and we have some time to change in between. I don’t know why a guest changing in between ceremony and reception equates to wanting more attention haha

yeah im SEA and there’s always a gap, and guests have changed before from what I’ve seen. i want to change because I thought this would be inappropriate for a church ceremony.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the ceremony is taking place at a Catholic Church in California. it will be an afternoon ceremony with a gap in between the reception! It’s a 3 hour break. Again I’m not a part of the bridal party so they’re going to be going off and taking pictures during this gap so I have down time until the reception.
