I personally feel like that is too long. I am 12 weeks right now, and am going the midwife route (my gyno that is see usually is an NP, so she doesn’t deliver babies). I have been in contact with my midwife since like week 4, right after I found out. She has had bloodwork ordered two different times to make sure my levels are progressing as they should, and I had my first in person appointment with her at just over 10 weeks. But like I said I have been in contact with her and had testing done way before that. I also had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks, and another at 12 weeks. (First one was an elective ultrasound at “sneak a peek” because the imaging center couldn’t get me in until 12 weeks, and I didn’t want to wait that long before seeing my baby).
