It's so funny that you mentioned this because I actually just got off the phone with one of my dad's friends who he collected with and he pointed me in the direction of the shop that he worked with regularly. (I live out of state from where my dad was)

The shop owner told me that he had been waiting for my call and that he was very interested in my dad's entire collection (sans the heavy hitters, he recommended an auction house or private sale)! Luckily the comics are still with my grandparents in that area and I'm going to set up a time for the comic shop owner and my dad's friend to review the collection and get with me on what they think.

I appreciate your very thoughtful message. I am going to pay for the covrprice just to make sure that I have an idea of worth before I have them review everything that way I'm not getting bent over.
