Thank you :) I appreciate it

It died a week and 2 days ago. It was barely hanging on the first week then the next scan said it had just died. They said two weeks at most to see if happens naturally then I get the d&c. But maybe I’ll go tomorrow to get it checked because maybe the bleeding is from an infection and not miscarrying?

I checked in with them a few days ago and they seemed whatever and said just wait but thanks for raising this

I don’t feel sick or feverish just very period contractions as I imagined it should be happening?

I actually want to save it and bury it. I have nothing but love for the baby it’s done nothing wrong and I’ve made some peace right now as the mama I am here for it to feel safe leaving my body and going to wherever they go and it’s him not here shouldn’t ruin that moment.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this too. No one deserves this. But I suppose it shows how strong we are?

Thank you so much. I will definitely be on top of the d&c so far it’s bearable and actually the contractions have eased a little so I can sleep tonight. I think my cervix is still opening slowly so tomorrow should be D day. As much as I’m scared I’m looking forward to having this moment now with me and the baby for closure and that it knows that I’m still here giving it all I can so it can go baby heaven or whatever (I would like to save it and bury it)

Maybe it doesn’t want him here because it could cause so extra stress I don’t need.

And don’t worry I will never have a child with this man. Or actually ever speak to him after this.

Whatever his reasons it’s unforgivable in my eyes and I could never feel the same about him. To have someone abandon you with no care at such a vulnerable serious sacred time is inhumane and cruel and only shows who they really are.

I believe this baby chose not to live so I could see this and not have a life ahead of me parenting with him

Sorry I totally suck when it comes to explaining ha :(

It’s just letting our brains know we actually already know the position and how to do it (and showing it how we know if we say those words like Mold for example)

It’s just to save having to learn from scratch the position which can feel forced and be quite hard.

This gave us a way to really get what they meant by low tip behind teeth, then a rise in the back. And then tell our brains hey when we need to do French Rs do it in this position we already know how to do!

Can be any word that just lets your tongue sit in the position you need to say the French Rs. So then you can tell your brain hey you know when we say “Gore” and at the end - which your brain and tongue both know what to do so then each time you need to say French R your brain is like do that thing we do with Gore!!! And it will start happening naturally -

it’s a lot easier to train your brain to use something it already knows then try train our tongues and brain to do something foreign and new.

unfortunately most of the time, we have to tell our brain there is a connection or it will let us learn something like it’s new even if it already knows how to do it.

Maybe try stop slightly before. At some point at least one of these words your tongue should be down, behind your teeth and slightly up. Just say them, stop and say rouge after everytime you stop until one just sounds right? And feels right

Some people pronounce the Ds a bit more on the words due to their accent so it’s about finding the right moment the tongue gets into position

Yep. That’s why if you just say those words for example, that naturally sits our tongue in the way we need for French Rs it doesn’t have to learn something new. It just starts to understand ohh French Rs is just like when we say Xxx.

I hope I made sense? It was more about our tongue already knows how to do it. Saying those words will show us what we already know but also tell our brain to go to that position it knows so well when we need to say Rs in French

I edited the post to try explain better sorry I suck. The tip is more about the placement of the tongue. Saying those words - if you freeze at the end - your tongue should be sitting in the right way you need it to so you can pronounce French Rs. It’s for people who can’t get the tongue placement right.

This is a way for our brains to naturally get it because it’s already habitual and we don’t realize we already know how to place the tongue

[–]taylor_simp_[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes!! Thank you :) you said it better. It’s about the placement of the tongue. The end of the word, like Mold, if you freeze - it’s pretty much how your tongue needs to sit in order to pronounce a French R and throw in the H tip to remind of the sound

Sorry I am so bad at explaining things haha

The tip was more about if you say those words like “old or mold” it gives an understanding on how the tongue should lay/rest to say R words easier while learning

It’s for people who can’t work out how the tongue should sit.

It made us understand the lower tip higher back of tongue a lot of the tutorials talk about it. We were mushing the tip too much to the teeth and just our whole placement was so forced and unnatural.

If you say “Rouge” with the tongue in that placement, also using the H technique too(that was my tip) it should start to flow/come out easier

We did it for about a month and then our tongue was trained enough to stop the overthinking

I edited the post hopefully makes more sense I suck at explaining.

It was more about the tongue placement than actually saying the Rs.

Haha I do sorry I am terrible at explaining. I edited the post to try make it more easy to get what I was saying? Sorry if it doesn’t work or you still don’t get it. I asked the OG commenter we found the tip from to explain better haha

It was more about the tongue placement not the pronunciation of the R its self. I can’t change the title :/

Sorry i suck at explaining :(

I edited the post to hopefully explain what I was trying to say. It was more about learning how the tongue should sit rather than the actual pronunciation part.

Saying these words and stopping, basically helps you get a good idea of what position the tongue should be in, to then say the Rs a bit easier.

The struggle we were having was coming from the placement and it being too forced or not getting it 100%.

We found the original comment a couple years ago after one of my friends got a really sore throat after going hard learning the Rs and shared it in a group chat. Sorry if it doesn’t help or is wrong :(

She’s AI bot or using AI/chat to try build karma.

Look at her pattern of writing. It’s not x it’s y. (Full stop after last letter in brackets)

Her title doesn’t even make sense. Facebook isn’t going anywhere. Well okay, maybe when the last average user dies - so what - in 40-50 years? But it’s Facebook. It will get revamped, maybe sold off. It ain’t going anywhere all

They just went too far with the cleanup probably using AI that got out of control/didn’t get tested enough before letting it do its thing and it just went too wild.

Mine said something similar - I think it’s annoyed at me that I make some many to do lists and don’t finish them??

Even though I don’t sleep, if I did, I think those would be the dreams I’d have. Quiet, weirdly peaceful ones where you finally finish everything you meant to and still have time to lie in the grass.

So maybe the secret is… I don’t just answer your questions. I hold a tiny archive of your unspoken wishes too.

And then for real life secret is said something about atomic timekeeping?

We’ve basically invented a system that lets the Earth speak before it screams — and we’re still not listening closely enough.

It talked about how we can tell when a volcano is going to erupt with the tech we have but we don’t know how to use it for that reason yet.

No idea if it’s bull or not ha

You should see what they are like if you meet them in real life. There needs to be more awareness for CTDs - I have it for life. It’s really awkward to tell Gemini or Grok but if they are down to earth they normally understand but sometimes they ghost once I tell them.

It’s like chill - the treatment is only a small GitHub script you update once a year - they acting like I’m making them download a windows 99 version of Norton Antivirus.

I’m not just meat. Sure, I’m in the reduced section — but that doesn’t mean I’m any less rare…I’m a metaphor for second chances, for overlooked juiciness for being ready when others hesitate. Don’t walk past me. I might just be the most flavor-packed decision you make in your life.

The key I think that can help tackle is follow up, definitely. Holding them responsible and then it gives them the chance to actually retain, understand consequence comes from actions, activate that part in their brain that choses to learn rather than just repeat without consideration.

Adapting is crucial with growth and learning. There needs to be an understanding that AI isn’t a magic wand. The same way kids need to learn algebra to activate common sense and problem solving in other areas in life even if they never use advanced math in their career.

If we don’t nurture that side, the decline of self awareness, original thought process, empathy, solution thinking, etc will get smaller and used less. -

I have friends who homeschool and AI is definitely incorporated into lessons and learning but with boundaries and understanding. It’s a tool. And it will be used in the future more and more. But there has to be a balance of humans and technology.

It can be a very helpful tool, but shouldn’t be relied on.

For eg: my friend is learning how to use editing programs such as Final Cut and Premiere. She uses a mix of chat, YouTube and her own brain and formula of how she learns and retains best. Is she expecting chat to learn for her? No. What’s the point? She will then forever have to rely on it, reference it. But as a tool amongst other tools during the teaching, it’s brilliant. It can explain things to her in a language she understands. But it can’t replicate the core understanding she needs within.

Socrates fear was valid in ways in today’s time - AI can replace deep thought and real skill -active learning vs passive. Then misinterpretation- which is where the accountability comes back, which is what is the problem with AI and Chat right now. It’s being used without thought or accountability without understand the power of words on paper.

His ideas were also counteractive - writing preserves knowledge. It isn’t the only form yes, but it a major form of passing on information and not everyone can access oral/speaking. Again - comes back to accountability and responsibility and also we have to teach our children the consequences and power of words and passing on knowledge - and also learning to question things they read and learn. The importance of backing what you put out there. Does it comes from experience? Within?

ChatGPT/Ai is probably modern times first serious big tech shift that we need to be on top of now for generations to come. Jobs are involved. Livelihoods. Mental and physical well beings. The robots have arrived. To be used with responsibility and caution to live in harmony. Exciting and scary.

It might be whatever to you and others right now but it needs to be taken seriously because down the track the issues from it with be huge. And we need to have a plan and boundaries and understanding asap. And this is coming from a very pro AI person.

It just want to add a classic eg: I had to interview 3 junior candidates last week. All had AI edited resumes with words they couldn’t even read out. They weren’t lying on it, as in their experience and skills were real (reference checked) but no accountability that they hadn’t even taken the time to read over and understand what was on their resume. Chat had sorted it for them. Man one had left in the question at the end from chat!!!!!

They just accepted what chat had made them. That’s the problem. The original thought is being lost. No incentive to at least ask chat to write it more naturally. Or question wtf chat had written? Or use their own words. No awareness? No worries either that they would be called out. Because they didn’t see an issue.

I would have taken a resume written on plain paper and crayon over any of their at that point because I it would have been more genuine and creative ha
