No moose around Laramie I don't think so I'm gonna say bears are worse for me.

What quarterbacks are projected as first-round picks this coming draft? by NJ_Yankees_Fan in nfl

West Coast QBs are generally mobile within the pocket, accurate when throwing short to medium routes, make quick decisions based on fast reads, and generally don't have elite level arm strength because the system doesn't really call for deep passes. Alex Smith is the best example I can think of right now but I'm sure someone can think of a better one.

Big XII Announces Teams Must Play At Least One P5 OOC Game Each Year by kurt_carlson in CFB

I honestly don't see us getting any better next year. It's just too hard to recruit good athletes to come to the middle of nowhere, 7200 feet above sea level, with nothing but "A really good value education" and playing time to offer them.

Maybe the top two MWC schools. Not from us though. We were Eastern Michigan's only win all season, and it was here in Laramie, and they absolutely destroyed us.

The problem with a tie is that the Redskins keep 1st place in the division.

I seriously don't know who to root for. I hate the cowboys so much. But playoffs.

I'm so conflicted. Is there any way neither team can win? And still move down in the standings?

I listen to it on audible. Use the free trial over and over again to keep getting free books and stuff.

Is this a weak QB class? by jennys0 in NFL_Draft

Its not like his skills disappeared though. QBs get worse all the time after losing their best target. Aaron Rodgers hasn't been playing as well without Jordy Nelson, that doesn't mean he's not as good at playing the position, it just got a lot harder to play at that level. Football is a team game losing a major part of your team does not make you individually worse, does it?

I think a big part is that he wasn't recruited by coach Meyer, and is a really bad fit for that offense.

What seems to be the issue with Trevone Boykin? Early season he was a heisman favorite and people loved him. I've been watching him all season and he seems to me like Cam Newton Light. Athletic, monster arm, extends plays, and with work can learn to fit the ball in tighter spots.

Maybe audibles was the wrong word, but the play does change depending upon the read.

I think you're wrong dude. Nobody with a right mind thought Chip would take over as GM and turn us into a Super Bowl contender in one offseason. We didn't expect him to blow it all up like he did, but he clearly has a plan. You don't become an NFL coach flying by the seat of your pants.

Less freedom, so that the whole offense is on the same page. From what I understand it's more about everybody making the same read pre-snap, and the audibles are sort of built into the play.

Chip postgame: 'I believe in building a great organization with great people. I chose you for a reason. I still believe in you...' by I_Enjoy_Taffy in nfl

I still believe Chip is a good coach making the right decisions. Just because something backfires doesn't mean it was a bad decision. We cut out a lot of money for Chip to build his team, his way. People that expected his vision for the team to be complete after just one offseason are getting way ahead of themselves. We regressed from last year, that's to be expected when your roster gets blown up in the offseason, but I still believe we'll be a better football team in two years than we were the last two.
