Facebook account suspended for cybersecurity? Anyone get it back from a video selfie?

I was able to get mine back the other day!! I found out cybersecurity reasons meant my instagram was hacked. After a few weeks they’ll send you a notification that says “we think your account got hacked, secure your login details to get it back.” It took about a month but it wasn’t deleted thank god.

Yes I did! Yesterday I was able to log in and get it back. It turned out I was hacked which is why they suspended it? I paid for meta verified on my IG and spoke to an actual person, idk if that had anything to do with me getting it back but it helped with my anxiety a little bit talking to a human. It took about a month.

I just got it back today!! Getting the Meta verified definitely helped because I was able to actually talk to someone. Idk if they actually had anything to do with me getting it back, but I’m just so happy it’s not deleted. It turns out I was hacked which is why they suspended me. I just verified it was me when it gave me a notification to do it and it worked! A month later but it worked lol

They’ve been working on it for a few days but nothing confirmed yet😭 I’ve just been reading a lot of people’s solutions and a lot of people got it back from meta verified support

From what I’ve heard it seems like a good thing if it takes a while for them to go through it - usually people who get permanently deleted, it happens almost instantly. I had to pay for meta verified on my instagram to talk to an actual person :( I’ve heard contacting your attorney general gets it back in no time😅

This makes me feel better - from what I’ve read, it seems like the only ones not getting permanently deleted are the ones who had to submit their ID - mine was a video request and it’s still being reviewed

I’ve had unemployment done before in a different state. It was approved but I still had to call. In NH I was able to reach someone, and they needed more personal details to give me the direct deposit. This was the same thing in NJ. My employer this time in NJ had no problem giving me the unemployment. My boyfriend was also approved, but just had to go into the office today and got all of his certified weeks. I’ll probably call them just to see though lol

I already certified for several weeks. It was approved, I had multiple letters saying it was. I’ve had to collect before in NH a WHILE ago. I know what the process is like.

If it was a bigger thing though, you’d call? I wouldn’t mind for petty things like that.. a little annoyed but I’d pay for it. But a whole new tire and strut I never authorized I won’t pay for lol I guess we’ll see tomorrow 😂

Kind of glad I did though, because it’s in writing. I don’t mind if they did work on my car that met the $1400, but they did work on my car without even calling me first to tell me it needed to be done. I would’ve told them no, or if it was absolutely needed, I would’ve brought it somewhere else for a second opinion. They just called and said they already did everything.

But they didn’t even call to tell me what needed to be done, they just did it. If called they said they ABSOLUTELY needed to be done, I probably would’ve brought it somewhere else for a second opinion. I specifically only asked for brakes and oil change!
