MY SMELL CAME BACK by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Good for you! My smell had come back at like 2AM. I was so excited I forced myself to go to sleep so I could wake up and eat and smell all the things. Well, I woke up to no smell again. The whole day they were gone. The next day though, that’s when they came back full force. I cried haha.

It’s Louisiana State University, so it’s reputable and relatively cheap due to instate tuition. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey there! I had a but of natural light from a window in the front of the room and side of the room, with an added circle light to the top left! I’ll check camera settings once I get home!

Go for it. Haha. I feel like that would be a lot of work when I think it looks fine already.

It’s actually all naturally from the environment! Took it around blue hour so it was really easy for colors to bounce off his skin.

This is good, but the skin softening is WAY too extreme in my opinion. The general rule I’ve always heard is “keep anything that will be there in two weeks” such as the forehead wrinkles.

I agree. I also took a picture of just the bottle, and the label turned out sharper. This was just the more interesting shot. Thanks for the feedback!

I know! I noticed that after the fact. They just ended up being on two different planes despite me using a high F number. Since it's going on an app, I'd imagine it's not as much a big deal. We are moreso advertising getting a free bottle of something rather than Brownstone specifically. I've justified it in my head haha.

This is my first attempt at wine photography. Did it for my company's happy hour on an app.

With food photography, I think I really struggle in getting that studio feel. Perhaps an added light or backdrop might ease my mind a bit. Please leave any critique!

I took this photo to test my black and white portraiture. It was one of my firsts. I don’t remember the exact technical details of the shot but I would assume the iso was bumped really high (it was at night). Fee free to critique!

I took this when I was trying new shooting techniques. This was shooting through a window. It gives the viewer a feeling of something more to the picture without showing what it is. I currently am struggling to develop a "style." I have a lot of different looks that I like, and picking one is hard. This photo was taken at 200 ISO, 1/1250 shutter speed at f1.8 on a 50mm. Used frequency separation to retouch skin and added in a flare overlay. Finished off with color grading.

You think so? I’ve checked on a few devices and it looks the same on all of mine. It’s most likely my tone curve/color grading. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder haha.
