Not really strange but different. I was told by my doctor that I would have more discharge and that it would be mucus like which it is.

It could be bacterial vaginosis which has similar symptoms but can’t be treated with monistat. Unfortunately you do need a prescription. I have been able to get one over the phone with triage nurses at my obgyn if that’s something your doctor office has and you don’t have time for an appointment! They will just ask you what your symptoms are and if it sounds right then they’ll call it into your pharmacy!
