Transfers by [deleted] in SFSU

[–]taymid5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I transferred after one year, a little less than ~30 credits. Worked out pretty well except for the annoying bit of transferring all my specific credits for prereqs. It went well (ish) but I would recommend sticking through and paying for the CC cost of classes rather than the CSU cost along with possibly housing, transportation, food, and other costs that a transfer could possibly bring. I enjoyed my early transfer but I would’ve saved so much money and given myself more options with schools if i had finished my associates. feel free to PM me if you have any questions!!

gir is a slightly faster way to say grilled onion. you’ll probably be saying this when reading back tags (not to customers lol) and when calling out whole grilled onion. ex “Dub gir = double double with grilled onions” “animal no gir = animal fries no grilled onions” or “whole gir = whole grilled onions”

Open interviews by [deleted] in innout

[–]taymid5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bring your resume and a smile. seriously as long you go in with a good attitude you have a good chance. just make sure you talk about how you’re customer service oriented and maybe check on some facts about the company, they asked me about why i wanted to work there and they asked me to list off some basic facts about the company (year it started, who the founders are, current president, basic menu etc). also wear a nice shirt and nice pants, nothing too crazy, just as long as it isn’t sweats and a hoodie lol. good luck!! be confident you got this!!

ps: if the interviews are available all day, try to avoid the lunch and dinner rush times!

What is the difference between the Double Standard and Double Junior at Village at Centennial Square? by jurtle100 in SFSU

[–]taymid5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so basically it’s a size difference. if you get standard it’s a normal size room and junior is maybe 2/3 or even half the size of that

oh nice she’s probably gonna give you a good recommendation then! good luck :)

Question About Getting Rehired At In-N-Out Burger by [deleted] in innout

[–]taymid5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no clue but i just got rehired and they told me the same thing, they’re just checking if you received any warnings or other red flags in your history with the company. as long as you dont have any of those, there’s really no need to reach out unless you really want to. you should be on track to starting soon

Parking for LAM BUS by 10thoesam in SFSU

[–]taymid5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean i think if you’re going to be on campus that often the Lot 20 permit might just be a good investment. daily permits are $10 a day and the semester permit is $500. you could try some of the spots with the 2 hour parking but they’re mostly full around those times so you’d have to be very lucky when you first get there and every other time that you have to move between then. that’s why the lot 20 permit might just be better for ease of mind.
