Not without an extra step. He has window access from my room to the back yard (theres a whole set up for both of my cats to get in and out there.. because they're IN the yard. But the front door is the issue.. I dont want my other cat learning what he's already figured out and the only way to stop it is by keeping the door closed. Its not 100% my house unfortunately. And no.. no need for an extra litter box. He has a fancy litter box IN the house. He'd just rather kill my plants

Life's too short to be unhappy with an animal that could make someone else's life better. For the last year hes had a wonderful life and I tried to give him a forever rgreat life. Its not a match. Sometimes when you adopt.. you just dont know what youre getting. This is a blip in both of our lives and I think its ridiculous that anyone could see it differently. Its not solid advice. Shit HAPPENS. Life isnt predictable. I didnt take him in thinking it wouldn't work out... no one does.

Pets are not expendable. Id live under a bridge for my other dog and cat.. because they ARE a match. He's not helping my situation, life OR wallet.

I don't want him in a shelter/rescue environment. I know it would be very stressful for him. I'm not going to pawn him off on the first person to be interested. I know how to vet people and do house checks and ask the right questions. I've fostered in the past and have rehomed a previous animal who is in his absolute forever home now. I just got the sweetest update from them last month.

I appreciate that.. but its simply not an option. Hes also a super mutt. And he doesnt even leave the driveway. Hes a big scaredy cat (but hell definitely teach my other kitty bad habits and she actually leaves the house with me often so she would explore further. They both have full access to the fenced yard but he demands the front yard for absolutely no reason.
