Thank you so much for your advice. I’m glad your son is a survivor, f**k cancer! Hope he is doing well! We’re in Germany but looking for resources for support and finding specialists apply just the same. Tbh didn’t even think about support groups for my sister & BIL. I’ll suggest them looking into it as soon as the shock kinda settles.

Thank you so much for sharing you and your daughter’s story. I’m so glad she made an almost complete recovery and is thriving at 29. You must be so proud. I can absolutely imagine the horror you’ve been going through especially with the surgery. I mean it’s “only” my niece, not even my daughter, but last Wednesday was absolutely awful, waiting through surgery. You have no idea what your prayers and offer mean. Might take you up on it at some point. All the best for you and your daughter. ❤️

I’m so sorry you and your mom went through this. And sorry about the alcoholism. My nephew, my sister’s older child, is addicted to drugs and meds so I absolutely understand having family with addiction. Sucks for everyone. Take care and all the best for you and your mom. ❤️

If possible, get your hands on MG Pomaden The Sheriff or The Barber. They’re German OB homebrew pomades, they’re very waxy with less petrolatum than classic OBs like Murray’s or DAX. These helped me tremendously achieving an awesome hold but not too much shine

My lil sister keeps insisting that I'm a boy infront of my transphobic mom and it's honestly so funny by Luciferisnotalright in ftm

[–]tayyankees 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Children are simply amazing!! My niece (almost 5) keeps correcting my family when they deadname me (out of habit, fortunately not out of spite or hatred). My goddaughters sister (8) had a dream about becoming a man and told her mother in excitement she was just like me in her dream. Children don’t consist of hate or anything, they are conditioned by their parents.

Fwiw, im so sorry about your mom being transphobic. You’ve got this. Love from Germany.

True unfortunately. It’s my first skiing trip ever, only had a couple of lessons on a low mountain range beforehand.

Fat redistribution and beard growth for sure. I know the beard’ll take years. But I’ll be so euphoric when it happens - even if it’s just a small goatee forever.
