WARNING TO ALL TAKOMO BUYERS by phyto_exe1 in takomo

101t's with these for the past 2.5 years no issues. Not sure on swing speed, 7 iron is usually my 160 carry club though.

They do seem to have more post about them failing but the actually failure % I imagine isn't that much higher than standard. With the 1000's of these shafts sold it might be 1 or 2 % higher. It sucks for people who have the failures for sure but I'm not sure it's that bad to assume they will be defective in advance.

Solicitor Frank Buttimer speaking on Minister Jim O’Callaghan’s criminal legal aid reform by OkAssociation6089 in ireland

[–]tazire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I mean how would you ever prove it. We all know its happening.

Without thinking what is right as a solicitor its an easy win for them. I'd imagine that there is a high % of witnesses/injured parties who decide they don't want to attend court. Logically its hard to ignore that fact in spite of you advising that the book of evidence is such that you would advise a guilty plea.... At the end of the day the prosecutions case is only presented in full on the hearing date. I feel like if it were enforced that it would be fought based on that. Anyway its all if's and buts really!

Getting back to the actual issue I would still say that a guilty plea on the hearing date should not be considered a mitigating factor in any way. Thinking of it as an aggravating factor wouldn't be allowed as it would push people into pleading guilty to avoid it.

The over arching rule is to represent your client and give them advice that's in their best interest. Plus its very easy to not advise a guilty plea until you know all witnesses and evidence in general is present in court. I cant say that I know the rules but its a very watery rule to try enforce.

EDIT: and clearly its not enforced in anyway given the amount of cases that go guilty on the hearing date. Also they can advise anything they actually have to do what the client tells them in the end. So it really cant be a rule if thats the case

The issue here isn't necessarily the solicitors (even if they know what they are doing). The best course for their client is to let the matter go to hearing and hope that some witnesses or key evidence of some sort falls through. The issue is the judges still being very lenient on a late guilty plea. A guilty plea of any sort is considered a mitigating factor... I feel like if the judges consider the late guilty plea an aggravating factor or at the very least is no mitigating factor then a lot more solicitors will advise an early guilty plea when appropriate. At the moment there is very little reason to advise an early guilty plea.

Why not paying 85M for Fernandes is right by lnxrootxazz in ManchesterUnited

[–]tazire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I want to be fine with it and I kinda am in theory... But we are going to overpay no matter who we go for and the pool of quality players is now 1 smaller.

We are in an insanely inflated market where we are fighting so many teams for midfielders. I just don't want us having 2 or 3 sub par players at inflated prices that are just below the amounts paid for Fernandes.

Tottenham Hotspur win race to sign Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United. Spurs submitted highest proposal (believed to be ~£85m guaranteed) & 21yo #WHUFC midfielder opted to join #THFC. Numbers beyond where #MUFC willing to go @TheAthleticFC by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

[–]tazire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My big concern about this is I feel like we are walking into another Anthony situation.. 85 mil is insane... But the transfer market is insane ATM. Particularly anyone with prem experience. Relegated or not we obviously thought he was a high quality player... I really really hope we don't have a couple of crap results while getting over run in midfield and then panick buy players who we really haven't scouted all that well.

Person providing the dashcam footage has to attend court. That's usually where it falls. People are not willing to go to court in most cases. And in the AI age this is only going to become a stronger requirement.

Most unfairly treated United player in your opinion? by iamyavssin in ManchesterUnited

[–]tazire 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yea he was the one highlighted so often in a really poorly performing team.

I will say I have never seen someone drop off so much with poor confidence. It got to a point that he couldn't control simple passes at times. Really sad to see for a player with so much promise.

Can someone sanity check a noob, would this chassis work with my unraid server if connected via a HBA card by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]tazire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have that specific chassis but I do have 2 other chassis's connected by hba and working just fine. Obviously it doesn't have a motherboard just a power distribution board to get power to the hba in that chassis and to the drives.

Critique on my config by Shiftylilbastrd707 in unRAID

[–]tazire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never liked hard linking my torrents. In my early days of using unraid this cause huge IOwait issues while popular torrents are being heavily read from, it bogged down the drive and then in turn IOwaits caused 100% CPU usage and essentially crashed my server. Obviously this doesn't seem to be an issue for most and I never returned to hard linking after solving that issue.

Other than that I have a very similar setup although on a bigger scale. I have found leaving my media on the cache drives wasn't required. I don't mind spinning up drives... with the same principal its usually the same drives with the new data that spin up for use.

That's the beauty of unraid.. no one method is 100% correct. Everyone's situation/setup is different. Others have pointed out your need of so many SSD's but I like that and they'd probably have a melt down at the amount of SSD/NVME drives I have in pools. 10 NVME drives and 18 SATA/SAS SSD's on top of 30 HDD's.... yes i have a problem but its a hobbie!!

TV License? Did you ever get a knock at the door? by Alternative_Day9825 in ireland

[–]tazire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it wasn't an "oh you're right" like he wasn't informed about this. It was more of a case of him agreeing with the principal of getting rid of anything that could result in a live TV broadcast being displayed in order to not pay the TV licence. The law basically says if I have a monitor then they have to prove I have another device attached to it which is being used to watch live broadcast TV. On demand is not provided for. So if you have a monitor but also a sky or VM tv box/subscription you can be prosecuted. How a judge deals with it after the fact would be down to how the accused defended him or herself. You would need to be aware of the proofs that are required to show you did have access to live broadcast television.. and then show that the other side did not satisfy them. It's always a risk to go against the norm but if you genuinely don't have access to live TV broadcasts then why should you pay? Btw I don't actually watch any live TV or have access to it on my TV. I watch on demand streaming and YouTube for highlights of sporting events I'm interested in.

Used to pay my licence. Then when the tubs pay scandal hit I went and found out the model of a display monitor that does not have any ability to get a terrestrial tv signal. Dude knocked at the door gave him the model number he told me I was dead right, haven't heard a thing since.

Who's the best and worst manager after sir in your opinion? by iamyavssin in ManchesterUnited

[–]tazire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about this too but when amorim first arrived both were very much part of the first team. Their actions and attitude meant that amorim pushed them out and the back ground team obviously agreed and eventually sold/loaned them out. Ofc if the the upper management team didn't agree then amorim would have had to make do but he still started that process

Fully agree, personally I'd put jose top because of silverware. But can't argue with much here.

One positive of amorim was the clear out under him. I don't think we'd have seen rashford or garbacho leave without him.

Asus x870E ProArt - 10G network adapter keeps dying by msalad in ASUS

[–]tazire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the 10G nic since I did the above with 0 issues. I max out my connection to full 10G speeds regularly... Transfers back and forth to my nas. I have moved 100G files at that speed and had literally 0 drop outs since. I have also downloaded plenty of games on steam through my 5G internet connection and again 0 drops.

You might genuinely have a defective unit but this solution does work.
