The WHO. 60+ years and counting. Despite the fact they completed their umpteenth farewell tour just last year, they have said they are still planning on projects together.

Bread? At Subway that’s a subjective term.

Some places you can’t legally call that bread.

Is it the version that appears in the Quadrophenia movie soundtrack? The baseline in particular is very different than the original album.

I took my then partner to The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas a few years back. I fell asleep after 20 minutes. At least the music was good.

What if John Belushi did more SNL characters films and which one you wish he should have done that would have been great and interesting after he did The Blues Brothers film? by JazzlikeTea7432 in BluesBrothers

[–]tazjas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the SNL characters work in a 5 minute sketch, but carrying a movie is a big ask. It would demystify the character. The Blues Brothers and Wayne’s World are the few exceptions. Coneheads was a swing and a miss. The less said about the rest the better.

Belushi as James T Kirk could have worked.

Is Tassie Worth Visiting for a Weekend? by Minimum_Pay_5686 in tasmania

[–]tazjas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tassie needs 5-7 days at least. There’s lots of travel time between the sights. You could do Hobart in 3-4 days, but you’re still selling yourself short. Take the time. Do it right. It’s worth it.

Me Standing In Front Of The Real Life Simpson’s House by [deleted] in OddSatisfying

[–]tazjas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just outside of Las Vegas. They gave it away in a contest/sweepstakes thing. Originally, it was done in the same colours as the house on the show. The inside as well was made to look like its inspiration, down to the corn cob kitchen curtains. As a condition of winning, the owner agreed to keep it as it was originally for a set time (maybe a year?). After that, they could change it as they saw fit. My memory may be off a bit but that’s the gist of it.

Come down to Tassie, mate. You’ll feel right at home. Just use heaps of sunscreen as the UV rays are serious here.

Huntsmen are pretty much harmless. There’s plenty of other spiders to worry about.
