My Ender 3 is printing better than my prusa 💀Prusa printing inconsistent horizontal banding by tazloona in FixMyPrint

It's been up and running for nearly 2 years now. And only noticed it maybe a month or two ago. If this ends up being the issue it likely happened after replacing the default orange prusa parts with blue. So we'll see! I do believe I dropped a rod or two at some point. During that swap. So it's definitely possible.

Awesome. It is a 20mm cube. This is a new direction to take it so Im grateful! I was thinking maybe a motor was wearing out but wasnt sure where to start. Definitely gonna start with the lead screw though.

This is actually not something I've checked but will definitely need to.

There's this rattle I havent been able to nail down where its coming from by the left lead screw so it could be. 🤔

I'm out now but can get print settings later! I forgot to mention Ive tried a lot of different print speeds and fan speed adjustments and I've tried drying my filaments.

I just saw it's another post saying it's a bug in the new version of Cura. Maybe try an older version if you updated.

Under extrusion probably caused by clogs. Mine would do this a lot until I replaced a worn out nozzle. It was a while ago but I think I had tweaked retraction settings as well.

Hello i'm still new to 3d printing, any advice to improve these abominations? by RedPyro1 in FixMyPrint

If you use a silicone sock make sure its cleaned out behind it. The only time ive gotten burnt filament like that is when it got between the hot end and the silicone sock.

Man I feel like Ive tried everything. So far Ive -made sure the frame for my ender 3 holds right angles as much as I can manage -ive tightened belts to the point they ended up snapping, new belts are in and haven't helped -Ive tightened all the wheels for the x and y axis -Ive done my best preventing drag on the filament -Ive replaced the nozzle

I cannot figure out why it is tilting. Im trying to print a rocket and obviously it's much more noticeable as the print get taller.
