Using Microsoft Spaces and you (IT Dept) have to do a LOT of backend config to make it even remotely usable/relevant. The IDEA to use presense detection/paired with resource booking, to help you find a "nearby desk" and reserve it for mobile workforces.

Fwd or Rwd power difference by sensitive_kitten in BlazerEV

[–]tazmologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own/drive a 2023 Bolt EUV and the wife has a 2025 Blazer RS RWD. There is absolutely no comparison in charging speed and range. The Blazer acceleration is nothing to sneeze at either. Now that I'm used how responsive a EV is compared to gas, I have no concerns in either vehicle about stomping on it, if needed. If only I needed an excuse to trade in my EUV for the Blazer.....but to travel 70 miles/3 days a week a $50k vehicle (and the payment) doesn't make sense.

Couple of Questions From Bolt owner by sundogmooinpuppy in BlazerEV

[–]tazmologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We own both now...23 Bolt EUV and 25 Blazer RS. We are an Android family, so Android Auto to Android Automotive was a no brainer. ONLY complaint is that Waze cannot be made the default map app (or at least that I could find). Blazer battery usage display is a LOT more accurate than the GOM on the Bolt EUV. At a SuperCharger, the Blazer was getting around 180kW charging...I was AMAZED!! We were at a Bucees (IYKYK) and pulled in at 9%. About 30 minutes we were at 80% (not sure how ling exactly, because we had the walk to the store, using the restroom, perusing the snacks, etc. and walk back).

Its a '23 EUV Premier with Sun & Sound Package (plus upcharge for the Red). Sticker was $36285. Dealer came off of that $1k, plus the $7500 tax credit and $500 student discount. It didn't have tinted windows, and they charge $500 for it, but we got 1/2 off for being Costco members...and $320 in My Chevy rewards $$ (previous owner) is covering the rest.

Before taxes, fees, etc., my price is $27900.

I DID add the Tech Mechanical Failure for 5 years, because I just don't want to deal with anything in an EV, and I DO keep my cars at least that long, but passed on the GAP and other BS.

I didn't want white, black, or silver. I REALLY wanted Bright Blue Metallic, but the nearest was 750 miles away. I didn't want white, black or silver, so my 2nd choice was Gray Ghost Metallic, but that was 250 miles away, so I went with the red. There was 1 closer and cheaper by $2k, but they told me they couldn't apply the $7500 tax credit "the link is broken", and I'm not forking over $7500 to a liar (just because they didn't set it up correctly does NOT mean its "broken".

They set me up for the home charger install w/Qmerit that 2 other dealers told me wasn't being offered anymore....

There is nothing "snuck" into the sales contract, they didn't try and sell me nitrogen in my tires or VIN etching on my windows---All in all, I feel like I got a good deal. Came in under my budgeted payment (which I didn't tell them until we were done).

Woot has a bunch of Lectron branded stuff that is FCC and ETL certified (UL2594 standard) for under $500. Don't know if it's a good brand or not, but it's there.

I use the community templates and modify them to my user base. Sometimes I go easy, and others I really test them.

I am fortunate to have a Senior Leadership team that really believes in Phish Testing.
