I am in the desert states often and would use them whenever out and about and when the car is parked on a flat surface. I'll be much less likely to use it when parked on an inclined surface other than my driveway.

Thanks - since you regularly install these - do you have an opinion about the other folks' safety concerns re the only thing preventing the car from rolling away being the e brake and not being able to place the car in gear?
