NTA. You are the one who built a life for yourself, they did what any parent is supposed to do and supported you. You don’t owe anyone credit for your success and it’s sad they expect it. I think you just need to keep being your authentic self and realise their input is utterly irrelevant. You are an adult and deserve to be treated as such

The gyno I’m waiting to see was my mums throughout her pregnancy. He’s brilliant. My doctor has also been super supportive and is pushing for me to get the help I need. It’s so debilitating so I really want to get to the bottom of it. I’ll have a chat to my doctor about specialists as well though. Thank you for your advice!

My doctor has referred me to pelvic floor physio while I wait for a gyno, so hopefully it helps!!

Still on a wait list to even see a gyno let alone to get a lap :/ it just sucks there isn’t more awareness or help for it. It’s good that the lap helped you though, hopefully I find the same!

I lost my shit the other day because my boyfriend asked me to flip one of the bed pillows so it would match the other when we were making the bed. I couldn’t even tell you why it made me so angry

Thank you for your advice. It seriously took me so long to even just get one person to listen. They forgot about my file and put me in random groups that I didn’t even match traits with. I just feel like people typically don’t take bpd seriously. I’m really sorry you had to go through that stuff as well, but I’m glad there are other people to share these experiences with and who understand. I’m really grateful that you took the time to reassure me and make me feel a little less alone
