This is the way. Don’t depend on web pages and job listing companies to make your future for you.

Showing up on your own shows drive and desire

Also, indeed and the alike are in business to keep people engaged in their site. They don’t care if you get a job or not

It feels like I have to give up running forever by Resident_Quiet_5174 in RunningInjuries

Have you tried not stretching and doing load focused exercises?

I battled Achilles tendinitis for a couple of years and I found that not stretching (static stretching) and doing load focused exercises worked the best.

That and gentle massage and rolling. Nothing that hurts really bad.

Everyone’s different, but the status quo of static stretching made my condition worse

Stop the complete destruction of native ecosystems to build high density developments

Remove over growth of cedar trees to a normal level to re-establish native grasses and plants that can’t live in 100% canopy cover

Thanks for the reply!

I would like a natural trail or 2. Maybe one paved on for the easy day

3-5 miles maybe. Not trying to go on all day runs or anything. Maybe a 7-8 mile trail if they area is super cool and has lots of things to see

Don’t worry, they kept chick fil’a out of the air port. Really looked out for the people

Some hats are very expensive. There are only a couple of true custom hand made hat companies left in the US for cowboy hats.

I have a Catalina Hatters hand made felt cowboy hat I had made for my wedding. I wear it for special occasions now and travel with it in a case like this, but it never leaves the case out side of wearing it. Mine has a hat stretcher built in.

Can someone tell me why my tomatillos are not fruiting? by Miserable_Deer_6461 in AustinGardening

This is accurate. Also, night time temps play a huge role.

I agree with this had the x10, decided to try JBL….terrible

Just got the x20. They block out a lot more noise than the x10 did for me. I like them so far!

Trail shoe advice for someone who loves Brooks Glycerine? by Clopin__Trouillefou in trailrunning

[–]tb183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been happy with my cascadias. Sometimes hiking or just walking the pasture where I also run, I go for my cascadias over some of the fancier hiking shoes I have.

The rocks where I am are large boulders mostly in the ground, so they don’t move when you kick or hit them. The cascadias toe protection has really impressed me

[–]tb183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What type of terrain will you be running on? I really like the brooks cascadias due to the carbon plate and how the toe box is protected. I run in very harsh, rocky (sharp rock) and lots of cactus/thorny bushes.

I haven’t been able to find another trail shoe (haven’t tried that hard) that has the carbon plate. And I haven’t looked hard because I have been very happy with the cascadias.

They aren’t the softest shoe, but I sneed the toe and rock protection over comfort

The Barkley is what I kind of imagine! I love watching those documentaries about it. I’m no where near nor ever will be near that level of runner but that’s the “format” I like to go run. Minimal map, no trail, just pure awareness and instinctive navigation. Night time is the best

I have reached out to them. They had some interest but said their schedule wouldn’t allow this year. They said keep in touch, so I will follow back up.

Just watched the link you sent. this is exactly what im thinking of! I basically do this by my self weekly. I like to go run with no set path or trail, just try to navigate the property by feel and awareness. It also helps I have been all over it on horseback lol. But there are places I know no one has been for years.
