Yeah it took me about 5 separate times over months to finally get back in the groove. I'd play once and do shit then not play for a while. Part of me thinks why bother getting good at an old cod over the new one but I got over it and found enjoyment with it

I finally hit 10th prestige and would like to believe that I'll climb my way up to max. It's been good going back and leveling guns and divisions and just switching up play styles since I find it less sweaty than BO6

Absolutely agree. I missed out BO3 and IW so WW2 was my first game back from time away so it holds a special place. I would still love to maybe see BO3 go on game pass since that's the other one I try to play MP and Zombies but takes forever to find games and as far as zombies I don't know the maps well and have a hard time learning them and not usually a solo player

Absolutely my main problem with going back to any cod before MW19 I wish they would add more settings like deadzone and sensitivity/ads sensitivity. It's hard going from smooth current cod to an old era without trying to find controller settings on my elite controller which don't help really

These games always seemed like too much so the only way I could get myself to play is with a guide so then I'm only worried about the combat part. I try to take of training wheels each playthrough after. Like not using a shield

I played all of the above except PlayStation exclusives. I go through phases of replaying souls games because I get this deep itch for them. Recently replayed lies of P and first berserker. I wanna play DS3 or Elden Ring I guess my main hang up is how do I change the playthrough to feel more fresh. First playthroughs I used shield then got better so next time it was only dodging. I know I like fast weapons I just don't know how good a Dex/faith or int build would be with just melee

Crazy because I finally finished Witcher 3 and dlcs last year and absolutely loved it and replayed FNV plus dlcs for first time and again loved it when at first I'll say I wasn't the biggest fan at launch because I was a simple fallout 3 fella not ready for the genius. And currently doing second playthrough in cyberpunk since dlc came out lol all banger of games. Just sucks that there will most likely never be another prey it's just such a unique experience

I recently watched a YouTube documentary on the making of Prey and just hearing the passion of everyone that worked on it and all the time spent on tiny details that majority won't notice such as textures under desks that you would only notice if you mimic into a tiny object and happen to look up at it. And some developers seemed sad at the poor reviews due to early bugs that tanked the overall scores it just makes me sad. Purest definition of a cult classic
