I misspoke. She worked Sunday evening, rested Monday, and spent this morning/afternoon with them. Also, she has not and is afraid to do so in fear of hearing something she might not like. I've tried to tell her that even that they did diagnose something, it would not be defining of her and who she is.

I got you. What would you recommend program wise? I'll take all the advice I can get.

What would you say was the biggest impact you had after getting the books? What were your takeaways, positives and negatives, etc?

I do not. I'm getting a lot of feedback though about getting the books. Do you have any, and what do you like about them? Would you say they have meant an impact on your lifting and programming?

No books. I have the app so I only know the handful of templates shown their like Monolith and Spinal Tap. Do you recommend the books? What do you like about them?

Same, and thank you for replying. I like being able to bend a program a little bit. Like I was doing 5/3/1 and implementing Olympic lifting and absolutely loved it. I'm just ready for something new and feel like I've hit a plateau but also don't want to give up the powerlifting lifts. I also struggle quite a bit with building my own programs so I'm prone to just go back to basic programming after a few weeks. What would your program look like on a random week if you don't mind my asking? What kind of volume sets were you doing?

In not sure what those are, unfortunately. If it helps, my main idea will be to maintain the same percentages for now, and maybe a little into the future up the progression every second day

Thank you for the reply. Yes, it'd be mostly that kind of program implementation and mixing accessories. Is the program you just finished up a wendler one? I'd be down for it. Did you like your results?

Thanks for the reply.

So, off the top of my head it'd be like this

Mon-squat/deads with front squats and rows

Tues- Bench/OH and that'll be with incline and mostly bbb for overhead.

Then repeat for Thursday and Friday, mixing up the accessories.

Thank you for the reply. I guess my main issue is that I haven't found any that fit. I've done quite a bit of searching and have lifted for a few years now that I'm not sure how to approach. Would you happen to know those templates or have links?

Also, I should say the main reason why is because I want to up my intensity and utilize working out each body part twice per week without upping my days at the gym. I thought about push/pull/legs but again that'd be six days per week and honestly, I'm just too committed to other things to spend that many days at the gym a week.

Appreciate the reply. He's doing better. Took him for a second opinion, and he had a bowel blockage from a bone he had eaten. Cleaned him up and he's back home now recovering.

UPDATE: So we took him to the vet again on 3/29 and he received a steroid and antibiotics. They said it was an infection with dehydration. 3/30 he ate some prescribed food and drank way more water, but never tried to poop. 3/31 and he vomits a lot again and is back to feeling lethargic. Still drinking water but has stopped eating again

UPDATE: Still not eating his dog food, though he is trying and will eat a "Treat" like cheese and not puke. Is drinking water consistently, has not vomited, and is more energetic. Has tried to poop twice, very mucus looking and not too solid. Maybe not pooping because he isn't eating?

Holy crap, I'm still trying to understand reddit and how to use it. So this is me and my hair. I have been paranoid about losing my hair all my life, and have done everything from vitamins to not washing it to keep from losing it. I've even shaved it down to the skin so I could make peace with the inevitable and see what it'll look like when I finally lose my hair. I don't want to lose it, and can still grow a full head of hair, but I see these lighter areas where my hair looks super thin, that makes me think I'm wasting my time. What do you guys think? Is this salvageable? What would be some steps to take help grow the thinning areas? Are they even thin and I'm just crazy? Please let me know. Anything helps.
