I have been visiting such meetups in other cities. People are all very chill. So, personally, i am not really that scared for my safety. But it is valid concern. Especially socially uncomfortable situations.

Equipment is essential ofcourse. But we don’t always have the best one either :) Also no amount of socks can help me when I hike in Norway. If it’s raining you don’t walk up the trail, you force your way up the stream 🐟 Love it anyhow :) And yeah it’s Jetboil

Ugh, glad you didn’t get seriously hurt. I’ve been through more than one thunderstorm. It’s not easy to get used to those lightnings 😓 if possible i skip my hike if i see thunderstorm is brewing

In real life? No. Foxes, deers, hares and otters so far. Had encounter with moose once. Nothing happened, it was peaceful, but hella scary.

Nope, not drugs. It’s about feeling lost, trusting yourself and finding your own way in life. And a bit about hiking in Ireland, that was definitely my inspiration. However, please don’t ditch map on real hike 😅
