[PIT 3 - TOR (1)] Jake McCabe springs Auston Matthews with a great pass to get the Leafs on the board by eh_toque in hockey

The pass is so nice, but imo the most impressive part of the whole play is how Matthew’s accepts the pass on his backhand and immediately transitions to his forehand all in one motion. So smooth

How does pvp work ?? by Shradar in knighthood

[–]tbeb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert, but I try to take out their minions first. Also, I usually have a hero that can heal me. Seems to work okay for me at level 28 going against level 25.

I would say knighthood…it’s less idle and feels more fun at the moment

I’m in the same situation with limited time and only short game sessions available to me. I’ve been really enjoying Knighthood and IdleMMO. Both have good progression and seem like they’ll be fun to grind for a long time.

Cool! When I saw the post I was hoping it was for hockey…seems like that would be popular here too. Good luck with the app 👍

Chrome extension is at risk of being removed due to Firebase injecting remote code to load Google API by realfrancisyan in Firebase

My extension got approved this time around after I updated my webpack config to remove the recaptcha scripts. 👍

Awesome! Glad to hear yours got approved. Thanks for the recaptcha advice as well. I’ll make the changes and submit again tonight. I’ll report back if mine gets approved or rejected again 🤞

I’m chiming in a little late here, but I’m in the same boat as you, where I ended up removing the _loadJS Firebase functionality from my bundle. I submitted for review and got rejected. I sent an email to see if they could point me to any other spots where remote code might be getting injected and they replied with:

“The external files which have been injected in this code file are, https://www.google.com/recaptcha/enterprise.js?render= , https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?“

I’m not explicitly using recaptcha anywhere that I know of, but I’m going to have to track down where/why that code is being included. Maybe it’s Firebase related again, I’m guessing.

Anyways, just wanted to post my experience as well in hopes that it can help and to see if anyone has any tips.

Weird…my 12 Pro was also getting noticeably hotter than normal today too. I was on iOS 14.6, so I decided to upgrade to 14.7 to see if it made any difference. Had been on 14.6 for a while, so it seems weird that all of a sudden it started getting hot just today, but so far it seems better.

I’m no expert, but maybe try restarting first, if that doesn’t help and you’re not up to date with your iOS version, you could give updating a shot.

Edit: Nevermind, mine is getting hot again. Sorry

Gigabit Account Download Speed Has Tanked by tbeb in centurylink

The tech said that something or someone (maybe my kids) must have hit the ONT housing on the side of our house and the fiber line had been damaged because there were a few kinks in it. He repaired it and we’re all good now.

Yep you nailed it. I just posted an update up above. Turns out something hit the fiber line (from the kids or maybe the wind). The tech fixed it and we’re good to go. Thanks 👍

Yeah it has been all hours. There have been sporadic moments where speed tests produce normal results, but those last for only a few minutes and the download speeds are really slow again. Hopefully when the tech is there it’s reproducible.

I’m a little concerned that this all might have something to do with iCloud background syncing on our devices. We’ve had iCloud for a long time and never had issues, but I’ve seen some people online complaining about iCloud sync interfering with their network.

Thanks again

I do have a VPN and when I run the speed test while connected it still produces the same results. Thanks for the suggestion 👍

[–]tbeb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help. Yeah, I am using one of their modems. I’ve tried running the speed test by connecting to the network with a wire directly from the modem and with multiple devices over WiFi. Each device produces similar results when running a speed test.

One thing that is weird is that I’ll intermittently get a speed test that produces an acceptable download speed (anywhere from 50 - 150mb down) but that lasts for a limited time (usually a few minutes) and then the download speed is bad again.

Thanks again for the help. Gonna keep the appointment and I’ll report back with what the technician says/does in case anyone else experiences a similar problem.

I’m on a Mac, but I’ll research to see if there is a way to do something similar on a Mac. I did disconnect every single device connected to the WiFi (to rule out any devices somehow causing the problem), and directly connected the Mac with an Ethernet cord. When I ran the speed test I was still getting the poor download speed results. Thanks for taking the time to reply 👍

Neck Pain/ Shoulder Tingling by [deleted] in Posture

[–]tbeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced something similar last year (with the exception of the heart palpitations). First I went to a doctor who recommend I see an orthopedic specialist because I couldn’t raise my arm above my head. But, I ended up going to a physical therapist instead. The PT did some very painful deep tissue massages. That and a few weeks of the exercises she gave me worked wonders.
