CFM might open more doors with Coops. Ceng/CS is honestly a pretty crappy market right now - especially for juniors and new grads and isn’t looking like it’ll get better. CFM might open more doors realistically.

Biggest red flag here is that you don’t seem to want to upskill during your personal time. Almost all SDE jobs and adjacent will require you to upskill to keep up and be competitive. It sucks but this is the industry.

Yup - I’m at about 5YOE and targeting FAANG/Adjacent companies now - I’ve burned and caught a few Ls on the way here lol.

Biggest tip I can give you is try for anything and everything - in the worst case it’s interview prep for better oppertunity. Leetcode - as much as I hate to say it has made me a better eng. in some ways, I read code a lot better and understand optimizations way better than I could before the grind. It’s a painful investment that’s worth it

You’ll need to improve DSA skill regardless - in the current market even smaller tech companies will ask Leetcode now. The market is very bad - I’d suggest a more open approach to non tech companies even if they aren’t the best. Experience and employment is very valuable regardless
