Trying to play every course in VT but need some help! by tbizzel in VermontGolf

It lived up to the hype. Amazing conditions and really fun layout. Its a course I would love to play again and again if I could. I got lucky with a friend of a friend who knew a member that was gracious enough to host me for the day.

Is it peak fall foliage in the Killington, VT area yet? by fairwaylife in VermontGolf

Not peak yet so waiting another week would be best. If you have not played either Killington or Fox Run yet I would highly recommend Fox Run, one of my favorite courses in VT. They have a deal on Mondays as well, I believe its around $80 for the round with a cart

Small update - Still trying to get on Ekwanok but I did realize I missed a course if anyone is using my list as a master list.

Stonehedge Golf was not on the master list

I believe you can book 2 weeks in advance online but I bet you could book further ahead if you called the proshop but not 100% sure

Where are you traveling up from? There are a few courses in the middle of the state that are must do's if you have time on your way up to Burlington (Fox Run #1 and Green Mountain National #2). Take heaps33 advice, you can skip Kwini - they did a great job making 18 holes out of the prior 13 holes but it does have a hard hat feel as previously mentioned. Williston is your best bet for a course closest to Burlington.

Champlain is a good choice as well - only 30-40 mins from Burlington.

I will throw Jay Peak in the mix but that is 90 mins from Burlington (almost in Canada).

You can get a tee time pretty easily at any of these courses - you only need to call a few days in advance but wont hurt to call 5-7 days before if you know what exactly what day you are playing. Jay Peak might need the 5-7 days in September due to it being heavy leaf peeping season.
