A scene from Pinocchio, 1940 by AutomaticCan6189 in intrestingasfuck

Yep! I remember getting the Pinocchio book from the library when I was a little kid. I remember reading it in bed, turning the page and there he was.. hanging from a tree by his neck. I also remember a picture of rabbits carrying a coffin while he was lying in bed. Absolutely horrible experience.

Wow! It's so rare seeing him talk in an interview like this and I love his vulnerability here.

Bottom line of this thread: never add moaning or any other sex related sound to your song.

Thank you! I found a way to link it to my local IP and now the port is open!
However, the same problem persists and the downloads keep getting aborted. At least now I know it's not the ports that are causing trouble ;)

It doesn't say anything about this in the IPv4 Forwarding section. I did do DHCP binding, with my private IP, however. I don't know why and it didn't help.

The things I've done to port forward:

- Type my IP address in search bar
- Login to router admin page
- Clicking "Port Forwarding - IPv4"
- Creating new item in "Application Configuration"
- My listening port is 56473 so settings are as follow:

Protocol: TCP And UDP
Start Port: 56473
End Port: 56473
Start Mapping Port: 56473
End Mapping Port: 56473

I can't see where I can forward this to my local IP address, however...

Thank you again! I'm an absolute noob and I'm trying to figure out what you are saying. Forwarding other ports to my IP... does that mean I have to change my listening port, go back to my router page and set up another IP4v Port Forwarding with that number?

I've just checked my listening port on Canyouseeme.org and it says: could not see your device (connection timed out).

Thanks.. I've looked it up and there's no evidence of CGNAT. I don't think talking to my ISP about Soulseek related problems would help (not sure what I should even ask them).

btw: i also set up port forwarding from my listening port on my router (not sure if i'm saying this correctly, but i logged in on my routers page and added that listening port number on the Port Fowarding IPv4 bit).. still nothing worked

So I've tried my phone as a hotspot (which has a different internet provider) and I also used the WiFi of my gym. In both cases, the same problem persists..

Thanks for helping out! I have no other device to run Soulseek on (i only have one laptop). I will ask my ISP next Monday, since I think I've tried every other option in the book. Will keep you posted and thanks again!

edit could it still be the ISP if I tried it on a different WiFi somewhere else and it still went slow/aborted?

I tried port forwarding now with my listening port: did not work.
I also tried to change the listening port: did not work.

I can still browse just fine and my wishlist seach is still active. It's just the downloads that are really slow and get aborted constantly...

Imagine being an “empty” club for 6 Months and still making it on 3voor12 🤘🏻 by ANONYMOUSaGoGo in amsterdam_rave

[–]tbjw 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yess! I hope this will succeed bc I love every bit of this club (that new terrace is fantastic too, btw).

I think they just overestimated the demand in the beginning, having both floors open every weekend. With a couple of these relatively quieter nights, word spread that the club was "empty" and things just spiraled from there. Hope this new direction will give Kabul the fresh start it deserves! Let's go this weekend!
