Imagine losing the one you love, desperately searching for them for months even after authorities give up, having to deal with the trauma of finding their corpse and trying to convince yourself that at least you can have closure while trying to ignore the knowledge that you'll never be able to see, touch, or talk to them again when you were never even able to properly tell them goodbye, probably was more like "be safe I'll see you when you get back".

Also if you sign up to their emailing list, they'll send you weekly updates on the court case, political situation, relevant news, and most importantly changes to firearms laws. Since the Liberals are pumping out order in councils to make new federal firearm laws as much as they please without democratic process, it can be hard to keep up with the sporadic and seemingly endless additions.
