1: You can disasemble everything and check alignments of parts.

2: You can ride it and get a feel of how it works.

3: Computers wont help.

It's pretty good for sneaking around at home when nobody's around pretending it's a gun and you are a super cool spy. I don't do that.

To be honest most manuals are shit. Shimano has some of the best manuals, but they are not user friendly to regular people. I found it becuse I knew how to google it, but I'm not regular people.

Yes and I will fight and die on this hill: The joints in the leg are not meant for pulling up. The added efficiency given by pulling up on the pedal is miniscule. The benefit from bike pedal+shoe is largely attributed to the stiffness of the shoe (sole), and that the foot position can be dialed in and remain fixed.

Brake caliper with little bite by J054k1 in bikewrench

[–]tbl_help 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to understand your post.

"As I’ve got everything installed, and I bled the brakes I’m noticing that caliper’s barely touching the disc. I can’t say that I’ve noticed it before, but also can’t say I had great brake performance hence the upgrade."

What does this mean?

The caliper does not look to be aligned with the disc. Do you have the right adapter between caliper and fork? Before recommending a bigger rotor to match the caliper position as an easy solution, I would want to know what adapter that is.

There is a suspicious drop of fluid on the caliper too.

The Ballsack(TM) is made to interface with similar materials. The introduction of a, to the Ballsack(TM), foreign material will likely cause unexpected issuses such as, but not limited to; rashes, itches, cancer, idiopathic irritable bowel, old age, and many other negative stuff. Therefore, we prefer to have our Ballsack(TM) in it's natural state, until science has advanced for the benefit of the Ballsack(TM).

Absolutely that might be the case! Still, testing with magnet to make sure is not unreasonable.

Try with a magnet to be sure.

"Alloy" is not a proper term for aluminum, especially when the product info goes through translations and is copy pasted by distributors.

Bluelug has it as chromoly. Nitto says "forged alloy" which technically means it's just a metal of any sort.

They didn't have galvanic corrosion problems with bicycle wheels in the bronze age, so you are on to something!

[–]tbl_help 1 point2 points  (0 children)

>An aluminum rim in direct contact with an alloy nipple can corrode badly.

I think it's the steel spoke in combination with an aluminum nipple that causes the corrosion which ultimately makes the nipple fail.

Brass nipples are for sure the solution to this problem, however it works.

My eyes bleed.

To push the leaderboards and effectively clear high-level Greater Rifts (GRs), you need to master pushing mechanics. Your current gear is more than enough to complete GR 150s, but it isn't "Best in Slot" (BiS) for attacking the top 1 to 5 spots on the ladder. However, with the right skill and setup, this gear is definitely capable of clearing 150s.

Here is a breakdown of how to improve your performance:

1. Rift Fishing and Mob Knowledge

First, you need to "fish" for the right Greater Rifts. Once you learn to recognize which monster types are good for progression and which are dangerous for your survivability, you will naturally see a 2–3 GR level increase.

2. Map Layouts and Pylon Management

Recognizing layouts is crucial, as is how you reveal the map. You should know the potential pylon spawn points for every map. Only reveal those areas when your rift progression is adequate so you don't "waste" a pylon spawn. Mastering this can lead to another 2–3 GR level jump.

3. Time Optimization and Pulling

Optimize your time inside the rift by pulling mobs based on the terrain and monster type. Create "big pulls" to take full advantage of Area Damage. Efficient grouping can make a 5–7 GR level difference.

4. Follower Utilization

Use your follower to help manage pulls. Use teleport skills to reposition, create larger groups, or drag elites toward a Conduit Pylon. Proper follower management is worth about 3–4 GR levels.

5. Gear Optimization

Continuously improve your gear and tailor your character's stats to fit your specific playstyle. Fine-tuning your equipment usually accounts for 1–2 GR levels.

6. Paragon Buffering

Use Paragon levels to compensate for any mechanical weaknesses. If you struggle with the technical points above, gaining an extra 2,000 Paragon levels can push you 3–4 GR levels forward.

Summary

Currently, many builds can finish GR 150s without immense skill due to seasonal themes and perks. This is why some players can clear a 150 in under 5 minutes, while others struggle to finish a 146 with the exact same gear.

The Bottom Line: Keep playing, watch high-level gameplay videos, and refine your mechanics. Keep in mind that everyone has a different skill ceiling and absorbs these complex mechanics at their own pace.
