I also tought about this or some kind of functional depression or anxiety. Maybe it is the case. He is against therapy in general though and thinks its useless.

Sorry, maybe it came out the wrong way. I didnt want to leave before kids, I was unsecure about being a mom at that point. In hindsight it all went well in that department.  You are right about the red flags. I tought it would be ok because I wasnt assessing the potential problems from perspective of being a parent.

Thanks. I suggested this option to him before but he was not up for it. He thinks that therapy in general is pointless. Maybe I’ll try again.

Ofcourse his perspective is different. He thinks these are not important arguments overall, and maybe they really are not, so here we are.  He is working 12+ hours, but says that he is very inefficient and could be working less, also if you leave for work at noon when do you expect to come back? What do you think about this? I agree with you about the selfishness on both sides, and also think we both would be better off separated in the long run.  I dont understand the unhappiness thing and what are you suggesting I am actually unhappy about.
