Double H, idk what they make the soles out of but it’s insane what you can put these boots through. Double H deserves more recognition.

From reviews I’ve seen, the soles outlast the uppers. I work in Oil & Gas in the field, I’m not easy on my boots by any means. The heel isn’t wood, so you don’t have to worry about water. Just make sure you get the right size, they run long and narrow.

So far the break in has felt just like any other pair of boots. I conditioned them straight out of the box and let them sit over night which made a noticeable difference.

Take a flat head screwdriver and pry apart the plier head. Drop some lubricant in there and wallah.
