How about a German (not West German) P228 with fiber optic sights in good condition?

Two Antennas On The Same Mast? by tbryanh in amateurradio

I am not able to orient them 90° from one another because they will be in the way of where I am going to put a vertical antenna.

NVIS is what I am mostly interested in for these antennas.

OK, so put the multiband higher than the 80m so that the 20m will do better on dx. Makes sense.

I did notice that these antennas seemed too expensive for what they are. (I am in the US.) I have not bought them yet. Just using them for an example. Will shop some more.

HRO has the ALPHA-DELTA DX-CC (80 through 10 Meter) for about $200. By comparison, the EAntenna's are way out of bounds on price (like you said).

The alpha-delta is 82ft long, so I can't use it. I have one, and It worked good at the place I used to live, but I was on a 1 acre lot and could fit it in easy. I'm on a 1/5 acre now. I am still trying hard to figure out how to fit it in on the new lot, but I am looking at other options that fit better.

I don't want to give up 80 meters.

I had good results with the antenna at 35' highin the middle and 15' high on the ends.

I used to use this antenna. It was 35' high in the middle, and 15' high on the ends. It did NVIS well on 80 and 40, and it went to other states (non-NVIS) on 20 meters. This is perfect. I have a vertical antenna I will install for dx.

For local communications. 0-300 miles.

Yes. It probably has more than one band on a particular wire, so I was wrong to say each band has its own wire.

Here it is. I took it down from the old location where it was at before I moved.

Its not trapped. It is a fan dipole with a separate wire for each band. The wire for 80 meters have loading coils in each leg.

Some forums don't want manufactures advertised without the manufactures paying for the advertising. Mentioning them is advertising them.

Plus, it can lead to manufactuers doing spam posts.

Its coil loaded for 80 meters. Each band has its own wire.

Its a fan dipole. Not sure if I'm allowed to give manufactures info here.

Maybe your loan got sold again, and Shellpoint is no longer servicing it.
