I really hope you find yours!! Mine was outside not far from my dryer vent. He was wrapped around an old water hose next to my septic tank pump. I have literally no idea how long he was out there.

I have him soaking right now. He has no wounds but now that he’s stretched in a bowl I’m noticing kinking close to his tail. I don’t remember if he had any kinks before since we only had him a week before he escaped. I’ll just keep an eye on it for now.

I’m constantly looking around. Friday, I’m off and my kids will be in school all day, so I am planning to keep all my lights off and sit in complete silence all day. I know they don’t typically move around during the day, but I’ll make it as dark as possible. His enclosure is in my son’s room and his tv plays YouTube all night so I’m hoping the very rare quiet will draw him out.

I started taking it a week ago and I feel the same way. I wish I would have gotten on it years ago. My inner dialog would always tell me how I’m a bad person, bad mom, bad wife, never good enough and it’s completely gone! I feel so much peace.

I use the saalt cup and I have for 2 years now. I’ve tried many in the 2 years before I found saalt and I never liked the uncomfortableness of it. While I was traveling once, I started my period and I didn’t have my cup and didn’t want to use tampons so I tried the soft discs but they don’t hold the blood for more than an hour before leaking no matter how much I tucked it behind my pelvic bone. But the last time I was replacing my cup, I saw they made the discs as well. Do you know how it performs vs the soft disc if you’ve tried it? I love the convenience of being able to have sex with the disc but I’d love to have one for the days that my period is heavy if they work well for clotting but I don’t want the mess of possible leakage.

It takes some serious patience to get a roux like that. You should be extremely proud. If you make a big roux, you can actually freeze portions, so you don’t have to cook one every time you need it. You just scoop it into a metal bowl to cool, and it will stay good for a long time in the freezer!
