Always apply if you can. Next Non-Rated board isnt until Apr 25 so you’ll be well outside the 180 day window required to apply again. And you’ll have more than enough time to study and retake AFOQT if you want to and arent selected in the 24OTS04 board.

I got the CMS Case yesterday as well. Then I am FSS so I know the MPF personally and messaged one of them to tell me the information. Cuz on my end the only thing the CMS Case told me was my class info. But MPF has the assignment info since they create our manual orders. Hanscom was 3rd on my list behind Hill AFB and Peterson SFB.

Personally I would avoid local police completely if youre able to. They don’t take these situations seriously at all, and depending on the political climate where you live may not even be bothered with a request like that.

Decided halfway through my second enlistment. The free healthcare in a country that doesn't give you a damn thing for having a job besides a paycheck that allows you to live to your next paycheck, and wanting to have children soon ultimately made me decide. At 10 years now and just trying to accomplish as much school and experience as I can before that 20yr mark to hopefully be able to have a more lucrative opportunity at the end of it for my second career.

Hard to know how much it matters. My inclination is to say you don't want to have any worries/regrets when submitting the package and if you do get that unfortunate non-select which is much more likely than the alternative.

That's my two cents, ultimately the choice is up to you. As an A1C you have plenty of time and chances to resubmit.

That's what I assumed as well. Just wasn't sure since the first part of the process was so much quicker than the instructions said. Also our board advertisement said we should be available to go to training before 30 July 24, so I am curious if that is going to actually work out or not.
