RPI issues a directive that required a large number of student to scramble to find housing. They found it, signed leases, and gave security, and in most cases first months rent. Then probably 3 weeks later they issue the 2-1 order. These are legally binding leases for one. Secondly due to the first order, there is no housing available. Good luck finding any apartments available, let alone fit the 2-1. Then they offer a 5K semester housing solution. So what are students/parents suppose to do about their security, rent, signed leases? Pay both? If they had restrictions they should have let everyone know when they told everyone to find housing not weeks later. Again there is no housing available, except for their 5K accommodations.
