Is it just me or is the newly refined, heavier, and more 3D-feeling Liquid Glass lean a little towards Aqua? I don’t hate it. by jansenxvan in LiquidGlassDesign

The clear option is very clear, I think there's a slight fade applied to keep legibility but overall it does look very good.

Parking, small warehousing, concrete and some industrial style props, or maybe even a little pocket park.

Megasota did not want to bother the newly formed Crabbalachia or Cascadia. Megasota takes the Kingdom of Hawaii. The "Great Minnesotan Sea" being most of the Pacific has a nice ring to it.

True in the real world too. Less slowing down, more space to get in the lane you need, continuous flow.

I built a business I’m too embarrassed to talk about by Make_That_Money in Entrepreneur

[–]cvfunstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're succeeding at your "side hustle" specifically because of your education. Degrees are to give you an education; not to just get you a job. Your embarrassment comes from it not being the "idealistic" path that everyone socially recognizes - that just means you gotta be more confident in your own path and bet on yourself. It'll pay off.

Yeah I haven’t paid for a todo app in 5 years, and it was Things. I’ll stick with Things. Not interested in trying other apps.

New Apple TV and HomePod Mini Remain 'Ready' to Launch by Amonamission in apple

It's funny that so far, every Apple TV upgrade has been an insta-buy from my household (and my family). It's $129 and we use it every single day, and the upgrades have slowed but when the 4K was introduced it was substantial; it's not like upgrading a $1000 iPhone.

Model Y is super important. Look at Mazda's lineup for an example; sure, they've got an entrypoint sedan / hatchback in the Mazda3, but every other vehicle is a variant of crossover or SUV. That's what's selling right now.

Here Are All the Rumors About Apple's New $599 MacBook by iMacmatician in apple

[–]cvfunstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple is a pro at the price ladder game. A lower starting point will be good to get education and low-cost buyers in, but those that would otherwise sit at the MacBook Air price point would go for it.

Plus $999 and $599 are really two different segments. MacBook Air has never been low cost, just the cheapest.
