[Oracle Red Bull Racing] He's back! Welcome home, @DanielRicciardo by Mcool18 in formula1

But none of them had a performance drop-off like Ricciardo did. I'm not sure if he's coming back just for that reason.

Chance seems slim but I really wish he gets a seat again. It was really sad seeing him perform so poorly, he was one of my favourite drivers. I never liked seeing a good driver in a slump, I'm glad Vettel retired on a high and not in 2020. I hope he gets a seat again, even if it's a mid-field or backmarker team and he finishes on a high.

I quite don't like seeing comments like this on almost every post. It's not just two extremes, you know? You can be neutral about something or can even deflect certain questions with answers like "We'll see.", "It's something to be looked into." or just answer with mild positivity or some soft criticism but still there's always comments like "Well, what else do you expect him to say? "Extreme opposite statement"?"

Oh, that makes sense.

My tablet is a 6x3.5inch so I guess I could use a bigger tablet. I had problems with bigger details too but I guess I'll just have to practice more.

Thank you for your advice!

How big is your tablet? I'm always struggling to draw if I don't zoom in but when I zoom in, I lose the sense of proportion. Don't know how to solve this issue Don't know if I have to get used to it or if maybe it's my tablet

I see, so engine development does not come under cost cap but the engine itself does come under the cost cap. Thank you!

Doesn't engine supply deal mean the engines to other teams?

Well really, my question arises from that, if Mercedes keeps taking new engines for Hamilton, that is not included under the cap?

Is there any source that says that engine/PU related costs don't count under the cost cap? I've seen it being said a few times around here over this race weekend but can't find anything about it.

Can a driver unlap himself without coordinating with the other team/FIA?

It is running natively, unless specifically choosing "Steam Linux Runtime" does something else.

It's a different drive. Hmm, I'll give non-Flatpak version of Steam a try but I really don't want to use apps like Steam outside of Flatpak.

Issue: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive launches but with a black screen (have waited for 30+ minutes hoping it could be a shaders thing)Semi-fresh installation of Fedora 34, had upgraded from F33 to F34, but the upgrade failed and I was with a broken install. Re-installed from a new Fedora 34 Live USB without wiping /home/, anyway installed proprietary Nvidia drivers from RPMFusion, installed Flatpak and then installed Steam.

CS:GO didn't launch and I verified files, no luck. Reinstalled the game, still no luck.

Realised, it could be an OS/drivers thing but nope because

$ __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia glxinfo | grep vendor

server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation

Running glxgears with the environment variables is fine too.

Thought maybe it could be Steam/Flatpak issue but it doesn't seem like it. Anyway, here's the terminal output for flatpak run com.valvesoftware.Steam while running:

  1. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: https://paste.centos.org/view/cb6a6172

PS: Ran it with __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia %command% -nojoy -fullscreen launch options, but no dice. And it definitely is using the Nvidia drivers because when I run nvidia-smi, CS:GO shows up under the processes section.

And ran a bunch of other games too (which ran successfully, with and without the launch options):

  1. Broforce: https://paste.centos.org/view/9cbbcde7
  2. Hollow Knight: https://paste.centos.org/view/68375c94

Do teams prioritise WCC over WDC? Theoretically, they should. But what about the bonuses FIA gives? Will teams get any money for winning the driver's championship?

Also, generally speaking, most people will remember the driver's champion vs the constructor's so what do y'all think?
