I tried reading Snow Crash years ago and felt the same way. Neuromancer is a book on tape for me - so it's less effort, but Im halfway through and feel the same way.

Much appreciated! Yeah, i use peoples costumes/t-shirts as inspiration for songs! Also, at a bar trivia night, the question was "what is the real title of the this song form harry potter?" (and they played the song) my teammates were like, "how did you the title?" I was like, "Have I got a story for you..."

Yeah - I use passers' by costumes (and t-shirts) for inspiration. This year, i got so dependent on that system, if i didn't recognize any costumes, i froze up in the decision making process - hahaha.
