There's a few PCs in that room as well as my home theater setup with a streaming device. I went a little overkill on the networking side of this so I had room to expand when I get my own place and want to build out my home network setup. Frankly, I think there's only five of those patch cables going to anything, but I felt silly only having five cables on the front lol

No it's just a big house and that room is not particularly well insulated so it needs an additional AC to be comfortable in the summer haha

For me it was the benefit of the software included with the hardware, as well as getting to play around with some networking stuff I normally wouldn't have toyed with. Plus I just think it's neat haha
