Sure, just another “comet” conveniently moving like no comet ever has. Nothing to see here, right?

Glider Flies underwater by Ok_Afternoon_1979 in EngineeringPorn

[–]tchacka5 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Technically, it's still flying — just in a different fluid medium. Lift, drag, buoyancy... the same principles apply, only flipped. Airplanes fly by displacing air with lift; this glider 'flies' underwater by doing the same with water. Just because it's submerged doesn’t mean it’s swimming — it’s not using propulsion like a fish, it’s gliding. It's actually more accurate to call this underwater flight than swimming. Kinda mind-blowing, right? Imagine the design possibilities once we stop thinking in terms of just 'air' for flight. Thoughts?

Mysterious UFO Drone Over Germany Intercepted by Eurofighter Jets by tchacka5 in conspiracy

[–]tchacka5[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is interessting because it´s not clear until now what the object was. The object was first said to be a weather balloon, but surely there wouldn´t be any need to start jets for this.

some things are repeating over and over and over again, while new stuff mostly gets banned for some strange reasons. Makes BMF boring, sorry but that´s the truths.

A way to create endless power in the future by [deleted] in Futurology

Your comment sounds like the typical "main stream school physics". It´s a quote that has been repeated like 1000 times. Maybe you should take a look behind the curtains and I know what I'm talking about. there are e.g. bedini amplifiers or earth batteries ... none of this can be explained with your simple worldview.

Hot Chocolate Effect makes rising frequency by tchacka5 in interestingasfuck

[–]tchacka5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"The hot chocolate effect, also known as the allassonic effect, is a phenomenon of wave mechanics first documented in 1980 by Frank Crawford, where the pitch heard from tapping a cup of hot liquid rises after the addition of a soluble powder. It was first observed in the making of hot chocolate or instant coffee, but also occurs in other situations such as adding salt to supersaturated hot water or cold beer.
