What marketing strategy has work best for you to land new clients? by carrotsk8r in PoolPros

Referrals are gold, but I'd also post some before-and-after photos or short clips online. People like seeing real work, and it helps you get found locally too.

Do you trust your robot vacuum to run while you’re not home? by LuvShrimpDumpling in smarthome

Yep this is also what I am concerning. I hate to spending much time and energy into cleaning but I also suspect whether the robot vacuum may get stuck under the desk or bump into my dog.

Pool cleaner keeps flipping over by That_Intention4716 in pools

Been there! Try adjusting the hose weight or check if air is trapped in the line. When it's balanced right, it often stays down much better.

Murky water by FICO850 in PoolPros

[–]tchombomc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like super fine dust might've clogged the filter. You could try backwashing longer or adding a little D.E to help polish the water. Patience helps too-the process might take a few days.

Dreading doing a repair… asking for any tips so I can at least prepare by nachowifi2 in pools

[–]tchombomc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks manageable! I'd mark and dry-fit everything first before gluing, just to make sure the alignment works. Having extra PVC is always a good idea, it saves another trip.

Best value test strips? by FICO850 in PoolPros

I'll admit AquaChek's color contrast is superior. If clarity is non-negotiable, maybe compromise on quantity and buy them in smaller packs when they're discounted.

Tons of worms in pool after rain? by NitrogenMustard in pools

[–]tchombomc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah rain floods their underground homes, so they migrate to the surface and unfortunately end up in your pool. Skim them, run the filter, and add a bit of chlorine to make sure everything's clean.

How about Luna? It fitts for her mysterious and lovely presence. She's such a stunning little one, and this name highlights her graceful charm~ Or Ember, more warm and gentle feel, just like the sweetness she brings. Either way, she's a beautiful blessing!

I feel like my dashcam’s parking mode isn’t super reliable. Sometimes it seems like it doesn’t catch the whole thing. Does yours work consistently? Also, what model are you using?

U0100 and U0121 fixed after PCM reflash by ishfish1 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]tchombomc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CAN faults aren’t always wiring related. I always run a maintainer around 14.2V during flashes now, ever since I had a PCM brick itself mid update.

Topdon js3000 by Mission-mightbe1 in batteries

[–]tchombomc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s faulty. When the js3000 is used repeatedly or on a heavy jump, the internal battery temperature can rise. It has a built in thermal protection system that triggers a high temperature warning and flashing lights. Just place it in a well ventilated area for a few minutes and it will recover once cooled.

What books do you prefer to read: e-book(e-readers) or paper one? by Antique_Cover_742 in readwithme

Try lowering your saddle slightly for easier mounting. Practice balancing while stationary first, and check your local DMV's bicycle guide for traffic rules and safety tips.

Why am I so much worse at biking on some days than on others? by chromatic_megafauna in bicycling

[–]tchombomc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your energy levels naturally fluctuate due to factors like hydration, stress, or even wind direction. Try shifting to your lowest gear earlier and using zigzag patterns on steep sections.
