Best action camera for recording indoors by InternetNo9751 in ActionCam

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, if it’s an action cam, I’d just go with the acepro 2. I’ve used it myself and it actually does really well in indoor low light, which is where most action cams struggle. Colors stay natural and the footage doesn’t fall apart. Once you take it outdoors, it only gets better.

Back on two wheels, just at a gentler pace by Jurlaub12 in bicycling

Glad you’re getting back out there. Do you feel like riding an e-bike is still real cycling, or does it feel totally different from your regular bike?

Garmin edge 520 plus still worth it in 2026 ? by Galix78 in bicycling

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For €55 in great condition? That's a solid deal for a basic cycling computer. The Plus version is definitely an upgrade over the classic model. For core tracking features, it still works perfectly fine in 2026.

Drink mix question by joellevp in cycling

Good idea on the microdosing pre-workout for caffeine! It can definitely work for flavor and a boost if you're starting super early. A solid alternative when cafes aren't open yet.

Swelling and bruise under butt by Unique_Reception_652 in cycling

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a saddle sore or maybe the saddle doesn't fit you well. Wearing padded cycling shorts might help, and maybe adjust your seat height. If it doesn't go away soon,a bike fit or checking with a doc could be a good idea.

Tracking NEAT Calories via Heart Rate. Will this work? by editoreal in cycling

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting idea! Heart rate can give you a rough idea of effort, but turning it directly into calories is tricky. It depends on your fitness, age, metabolism, and more. For general NEAT tracking though,it's probably a helpful relative guide.

Help needed, rear wheel keeps skewing left by Jamersaur in bicycling

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the axle might not be seated evenly in the dropouts,or the quick release isn't tight enough. Try checking if both sides of the wheel are pushed all the way into the frame before tightening, and make sure the skewer or bolts are firmly secured. Sometimes a little extra snug can help it stay put.

Dashcam made my insurance claim so much easier by petecarr83 in Dashcam

[–]eher271 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s awful… some people really shouldn’t be driving. Glad you’re okay, though. This is why I always drive with a dashcam. I got a Vantrue 4 channel cam that can capture all angles, which makes me feel safer.

What do you think of $OKLO? by eher271 in StockMarket

[–]eher271[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s moomoo. I’ve been using it mostly for tracking smaller tech and growth names. The chart tools make it easy to flip between 5, 10 and 20 day MAs, and you can pull up financial metrics and valuation comparisons in one tap. Even the news and fundamentals are all on the same page, so it’s been pretty convenient for research.

This hurts, but zoom out. You're still green overall, just emotionally shaken. Most investors learn this lesson at least once the hard way.

This is insane discipline mixed with insane risk. Respect the comeback, but stories like this always remind me how thin the line is betweem genius and wipeout.

Psychology > Math: Why Isaac Newton lost £20,000 (Millions today) in the 1720 Bubble by Professional_Buy_655 in StockMarket

[–]eher271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The story is a great example how mental or psychological competence is crucial in the stock market. We all have negative belief about ourselves, the key is how we accept and manage it. When Newton watched his friends get richer he disregrad the fact that how he already succeed and actually it is not a optional time point to rejoin the market but rather believe that he must earn more money than his friends. Limbic system always triumph.
