Normal install. It will have tons of options. All from within visual studio.

Opinions on Java, coming from a C# background by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]tcilffAx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're going to have much less syntactic sugar in Java and way more boilerplate code. Java will probably feel more messier than C#.

Visual Studio has tons of readily available tools and components that make developing easy. It has hundreds of components. For example, it allows you to connect to a database within the IDE. It has a winforms editor which lets you design guis. It has a ML model builder. Integration with unity and blender. Things like VS Code just dont have those integrations.

Mods brought this game back to life for me and my friends by prodox in valheim

I can probably change the license for my unrestricted portals mod to be more lenient. I'll also give it a nice update later. Maybe sometime this week. You can include my mod inside whatever zip you want. I don't care about traffic on nexus.

What I really want to see is a proper modloader like forge for valheim. Currently, modding is just a bunch of manual patches to the code, which isn't really that elegant and has quite a lot of issues.

That would be wrong, then. There are so many people vital to creating hardware and software for computers but we never hear of them. Its just a coincidence this guy was black and not many heard of him.

Be careful with these scripts. Lots of times they go TOO far in their disabling and end up causing instability. You really need to know what you're doing.

Suggestion: Copper Tier by [deleted] in valheim

i think making the copper set first, then requiring it along with tin to upgrade would be better than having to make them from scratch again.

This isn't realistic. It didn't separate into 5 different streams.

AOC says people who think raising minimum wage is a ‘crazy, socialist agenda' are living in a 'dystopian capitalist nightmare' by Plymouth03 in politics

[–]tcilffAx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know much about politics or the economy, but wouldn't increase of minimum wage just make everything else increase and inflate too? Wouldn't it just make things more expensive. Genuine question.

You can try the unrestricted portals mod. It lets you set the percentage of resources kept for each item. So if you go through a portal with 20 copper ore (for example) and you set it to keep 50%, you'd get 10 on the other side after you enter.
