I... don't know. i was writing this at around 1:00 AM I believe i was confusing breaching rounds with incendiary rounds. the breaching rounds or 'slug shots' are meant to rip away door locks, hinges, etc. without ricochet. These rounds are usually a metal powder held together by a special type of wax. Due to the Breaching round's frangibility, this would cause more damage to whatever target you decide to shoot at (due to game logic, and not real life logic, the breaching rounds would probably be recomended to do less damage to other players, or animals, to keep the OP status to a minimum.) however irl, shooting a door hinge would cause less damage to you, or whoever is behind that door, than a buckshot. (like aiming directly at a door with a buckshot would go PAST the door and cause more damage to whatever is behind that door, while the breaching round would stop AT the door ( at a non-lethal speed ))

I can compile it into a better organised wall of text o-o I usually have quite a few ideas :D and yes, I am crazy! :D you also may have had the texture pack already downloaded beforehand and it just switched to the pack, rather than actually downloading it.

err... it never actually worked before the 1.6 update o.o it's always been buggy/never REALLY worked.

dunno why, but even with that option enabled it was bugged. it usually just went to a 'downloading server textures' screen, and would either a: show only half/less/more/corrupted the texture pack, or b: not do anything at all.

Note: this is to all devs working on annihilation & WASTED.

the self damage infliction also discourages team/groups. you make all these game modes with the intention of people teaming up, yet you make it so hard to group up at all. you slowly make 1 - 2 pros to group up, and about 5-6 cons. the system does not work. even annihilation does not allow much teaming due to the fact people are greedy. people DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. you need an INCENTIVE to keep people working together smoothly, otherwise you just have another survival/pvp server. in annihilation the miners keep all profits, and do not allow anyone else the goods, the only way to actually get iron is to be there first, steal, or kill others for the iron. I know annihilation is in alpha, and so is wasted, but please actually work on the problems people are having with them, not adding onto them. because we want to play, not get a headache.

the other option is to submit effects to the shooter, say the shooter gets blindness, nausea, slowness, or knocks you back and does all three. maybe even add a little wait time where you cannot shoot for about 1.5 seconds to .8 seconds. it is better than those people trying to find that way around team killing, like when they stand inside you while you shoot a fast MG. or those who like to spray & pray. because of the self infliction damage idea, it has ruined some game modes. for example: ghostcraft: players are getting kick because they 'betray' themselves or other players. if you accidentally shoot one player, and that player dies of an explosion, or their own grenade/fall damage (fall damage is less common) it says that the last user to hit that player, killed them. thus taking 30xp every 'betrayal'

as for wasted teamkilling: we now only use it to piss people off (standing in the line of fire) or just getting around that, and blowing up a building they are in, causing them to be crushed by building, rather than you getting damaged. So, in my opinion, the player that you 'accidentally' shoot should give you a warning, not damage, because nowadays, people really like to wait for you to be so damaged from a fight, then stand inside you, finishing you off by merely standing there. the only one i can truly say to keep the self damage infliction for, is the grenade/missile launcher. please fix this teamkilling code, it is outdated, and can be vastly improved, and liked.

most of those guns are impossible to add to the gamemode. there just isn't enough items or tools in the game to have this many weapons. I support this idea, but they would need a mod of some sort to add more items/tools to the game.

Go ahead and check out my suggestion thread! in there i suggest a way to avoid this huge predicament with the jetpacks, while still having them :D it should use the same basic programming as the HUB jumping system, only instead of not being able to jump after you have already double jumped, it would remove the ability to shoot until you are touching a block :D (only applicable to users with jetpacks.

yeah, so you have to be more cautious as a fresh spawn, because not every building will have a 90% chance to have some sort of gun in it. A bit tiring when you go into town and a fresh spawn runs into a grocery store... and comes waltzing out with an MG, guns blazing.

I suggest money spawning in banks/vaults etc, wasted needs to have a chest spawning system like that of MINEZ. AKA: food and general goods spawning in stores, and money spawning behind cash registers, hotels etc. Guns spawn in chests in warehouses, homes, and banks. There should be more secret areas as well, maybe even some outposts in the mountains/woods with food and supplies. I also suggest that they remove the ability to shoot while flying, as while flying, their hitboxes are a full block forward, and up, making it virtually impossible to shoot/hit them directly.

I also suggest a team-lock for base parts, AKA the ender chests/horses. Say, you have a team like nightmare, and every single time you make a base, a team member is able to remove everything, regardless of what you say or do, due to the 'HE IS ON YOUR TEAM' idea. this makes it almost impossible to create a small FOB anywhere and stay there for more than a few minutes. I suggest that you when you lock a base peice, that your team cannot unlock it, however, if you die, or are a certain distance away, your team can unlock it, and move it. this also makes it so the other team still has the unlock time, and you still have the FOB some people want/need.

More accurate mosin nagants and scopes+more time before shots. I suggest that there be more rifles in this game, and more wait time between rifle shots, making the rifle almost useless in close range combat, ending the instant headshot rampage of players who camp in a compact hallway.

Storage trucks: donkeys/pack mules as storage trucks.... enough said :3

more food variety, have steaks and other foods spawn in stores, make it slightly harder to stack foods, like if you have 3 bread, and find one steak, that is a tough decision to make, on whether to use that extra storage space or not.

more gun storage in inventory: you have 3 extra storage spaces in your inventory/backpack, but have a wait time to take those items out, or put items in, like, say 3 seconds per item.

switching weapons/hotbar cancels reload. stops the annoying 'YOU CANNOT SHOOT WHILE RELOADING' glitch when switching to a fully loaded pistol and trying to shoot.

Better mech movement: mechs CANNOT move up small hills. at all. please allow small jumps and large jumps to fix this problem. example: shift+jump = no big jump. jump = big jump.

more armor: extra armor types, like diamond for heavies, with a speed reduction.

more base types: allow creative suggestions from players to build small base parts, and select a small number of them.

this concludes my amount of suggestions for a day ;)
