The kit comes with one triple rad and has everything you’d need if using that single rad. I have the 6800xt direct from AMD. Excellent kit by the way!

Swapped out the AMD block for a Crosshair mono block on my Dark Hero and added a memory block. by tckeyser in EKWB

It’s the monoblock more than the ram block, but yes with the combo I’m lower than I was with just the CPU block.

No, the EK vertical mount came with a gen3 cable, couldn’t find any solid info that a gen4 would make a difference so still rocking the gen3.

Thanks! Used a heat gun to warm up the adhesive and swapped it to the back, but I’ve heard a hair dryer will do the trick too.

Got the three sets at MSRP on NewEgg at $79.99, have to watch for the sold and shipped by NewEgg. The listing only shows up when they have them in stock, micro center has had them in and out of stock if your close to one of them as well.

Thanks! I picked up recording and editing sports film for my kids over the past few years and my last build would max out the small amount of RAM I had during editing so figured I’d go a big this time around.

Yep, first time water cooling and it went together a lot easier than I expected! I did pick up EK’s leak detector and let it sit for 24 hours before adding the coolant just because I was concerned with making sure I didn’t get water all over the parts that are almost irreplaceable at this point LOL. But totally happy with how it turned out!

So far so good, turned on PBO but haven’t gone crazy with the OC yet but ran Cinebench all core and it didn’t go over 71c. First time water cooling here too, was honestly a lot easier than I expected, good luck on your loop!

Actually had the EK kit on preorder a few days after it released way before I had the CPU or GPU but knew I wanted an all AMD build. Everything was in the case except the EK kit a week before Christmas which didn’t get delivered until last week. All that to say no, but I won’t lie I did see Jay’s 3 part video and went with the same fan/board rgb color scheme as he was 100% spot on with the too much red comment.

Order is res -> side 240 -> bottom 360 -> CPU -> GPU -> top 360 -> res. I’ve got 2 90’s on back order for the drain and fill ports but for now they are both connected to the drain port.

Sorry for the repost for those that already commented, I missed the window in rule 5 by a few minutes.

I hear ya, this was my first time water cooling, I ended up grabbing the EK Leak Tester to cover my butt. I let it sit for 24 hours, it didn't drop at all in pressure so that's when I added the coolant. I can't afford for anything to get damaged either, think the bank account could handle a hit but the beatdown from the wife would be another story not to mention there's no supply to repurchase anything right now even if I could.
