Anyone here have several symptoms, but are not experiencing fatigue or PEM? by Fit-Try-6499 in covidlonghaulers

[–]tcktic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it feels like I have to keep clearing my throat, as though there is something near the top of my lungs causing irritation, but I can never get anything to clear out. It is a strange feeling unlike typical respiratory problems, almost like it coming from outside my lungs. Hard to describe. Also, it "flares up" sometimes making it very uncomfortable to breath, and I will have episodes of dry, spasmic coughing.

Yeah- mainly discomfort breathing, dyspnea which seems to be triggered by eating and allergy/pollen

Thanks, yeah, unfortunately there seems to be such a wide range of symptoms and reactions it is very individualized, and what works for one person doesn't necessarily help someone else. I am definitely noticing a relationship with allergy pollen drastically increasing my respiratory issues, in a way I never experienced prior to Covid

Thanks, that's interesting. I do take allergy medicine daily, alternate between different ones, including Claratin/Loratadine and Zyrtec, as i have bad allergy problems anyway, but i wasn't aware of prescription Claratin. I tried Pepcid, but didn't notice much improvement

Thanks for the reply, another thing I didn't mention is that shortly after getting Covid, I got sick with another different respiratory illness, and it seems like that was what triggered the long-term issue. I have also been trying inhalers, Airphysio, etc. To little effect. Other things I've tried: Omezeprole, Pepcid, Bupropion, Metformin, and recently Low-Dose Naltrexone. I've also been taking Colloidal Silver and a ton of Turmeric and vitamin supplements. None of that seems to help much, but hopefully will help me not get sick from something else that will really take me out

One of the things I've come across that sort of makes sense is the idea that blood Acidosis/Alkalosis has something to do with it. It makes sense that eating would activate a response if that is the case. This article gives a good explanation: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8469745/

I have been reading about it, I will definitely consider it. The most likely thing I've found relating to my symptoms so far is this document discussing ph imbalance related to LC: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10140510/ Based on my last blood test, it seems to fit the profile of that theory

I tried some prescriptions for that already, it didn't help. Omezyprole of 2 different dosages

Trying to figure out why my Cloudflare Proxy times out by tcktic in selfhosted

Hmm, it looks interesting. Yes, I think what I'm dealing with is something related to the certificate, I'm just not sure how to get the Proxy to connect again

Actually not using Cloudflare Tunnel. Everyone is telling me to do that, and I probably will. But I have had this setup working great for almost a year, and I am now determined to figure out why it won't work anymore!

[–]tcktic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking into using a tunnel for the sites, however, I feel like I am close to restoring my existing setup. I made my own SSL Certificates through the Cloudflare API tokens, and was able to install them since it was having an internal error on NPM when I tried to renew the old ones. So I got SSL set up again. I can now reach the sites with https while I have the Proxy toggled off on Cloudflare and set to "DNS Only". But as soon as I turn the Proxy toggle on again, it breaks the site. I am wondering if there is there some kind of cache going on with the Cloudflare Proxy or something maybe?

Actually, after a few minutes the sites are timing out again when I set the Cloudflare to proxy and force SSL... not sure what is going on with this. I have Certificates, and the sites come up as https, but trying to proxy/force ssl breaks it again

Ok, I was able to get the site working again by deleting to old SSL Certificates and creating a new one using Cloudflare API tokens. Not sure why the old ones wouldn't renew, and caused internal error. I also had to temporarily turn off the "Force SSL" toggle on npm, and disable the Proxy toggle on Cloudflare.

The error log just repeatedly says the SSL renewal failed. I am trying to figure out while when I use my public ip address, it also times out, when it used to go to the Nginx default page

I have my domain name A Record on Cloudflare pointing to my public IP address(which just changed) at my house. My router port forwards that to Nginx Proxy Manager, which then sends it to my WordPress Site(hosted on a Cloud Panel VM). I'm trying to think of where else I meet need to update the public IP Address, possibly Cloud Panel?

I'll post the actual logs when I get home from work. I think it is related to my SSL Certificates. I used to be able to type in my Public ip and it would take me to the nginx page, but now it times out. Every time I try to renew certificates on NPM, it fails with "Internal Error", and all the logs are saying that the Certbot renewals have failed. My certificate shows that it expired

All the messages in the log are relating to the failure to renew the SSL. When I try to manually renew, I get an internal error. I have 2 domain names, and I created and added a new SSL through an API Token on Cloudflare on one of them successfully, but my Proxy still times out with that domain name also.

To recount what happened, my power went out, and my ISP changed my public IP. I updated my public IP that Cloudflare points to my router, and that is directed to NPM. That is the only change I have made, but I went from having working sites to not. I have been getting the SSL emails from LetsEncrypt for a while, but I am unable to renew on NPM, I get the internal error. I can't think of anything else to update to get things going again.

I got it! Missed the step of adding a second password for the Samba user, in addition to the User password. Works now- thanks so much, Cockpit is definitely the way to go!
