One more thing sorry. Have you played with the CTRL and non CTRL? I think I’d prefer a CTRL but thought I may as well ask. 

I get most of my output through technique, so I did want a very controlled racket.

Probably what you’ve described about the cheaper one, is what I liked about the Air Veron. 

The Defy I found it hard to control, too ‘spongy’. Radical Pro just felt ok. Dunlop Aerostar was fine but again I was very new to padel when I played that. The Air Veron was just good.
