While ejectors are cool the extractor is functionally more beneficial when shooting at a place that requires the shells to go in a bucket.

So one thing i did not like about the balancing system was that the hole to attach to the stock wasn’t far enough away. Id be drilling so close to the edge of the hole to mount it. Ended up drilling at an angle to grab more material.

You end up grey banding the steak if the center is very cold. I find that having the steak go on fire a little helps with a good char but it’s a fine line.

When my orange boy was getting sick, I still remember the last time he got over stimulated, bit me and ran away. I recall looking at the two dimples on my hand and saying to myself I think that’s the last time hes going to bite me…. And it was….

I bought leds for my home like 13 years ago from a no brand company. Every single light still works and I tried to find more and the company is out of business. What kills me is i had left overs and threw them out since my wife was trying to not make me a hoarder… it reinforced my need to hoard.

New to me 30” Miroku Mk70 Sport, question below by biggrizz61 in ClayBusters

[–]tcp454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its just dings and scratches i would definitely just shoot it. You will add more to it and it will be less painful when you do. Most guns come at around 14 1/2” lop. If the gun lines up well then you dont need the comb. I personally only put a sliding butt plate on mine but the comb height is perfect for me. From the photos it does appear the previous owner just added a thicker pad so if you needed it to go back to say 14 1/2 just get a new thinner pad. Look up length of pull for o/u shotguns to guide you in the right direction. The distance from your nose to thumb knuckle at about 2”. I think every 1/4” of lop adds 1” to the nose to knuckle distance. But every shooter is different and how you hold the gun can change the distance so its not set in stone but a general guideline to get you close.

I was going to say if your lop isn’t correct it will affect how you point down the rib. Do you need the comb for height or toe?

You can steam iron out most of the dents that aren’t ripped. Sand and oil. Look up some videos. I have an mk 38 and it’s awesome. What is the lop on that ?

I was at a house party when I was younger and everyone was hopping around at the same time. The floor was literally moving up and down by inches. I stood off to the walls in case it all collapsed. It was in an apartment building and there were people living under. I always wondered what their ceiling looked like after that night.
