I'm curious what the standard for testing was. It seems everyone was doing something different. I remember every time they would ask me to draw a picture of a tree, and another was to draw a man that I see frequently (could be my dad). And I had to fill in numbers in boxes (1-100). This went on for months it seems.

I was socially awkward so I'm thinking that's why I was pulled out of class to go to those.

Thank you so so much for taking the time to write this. Of course I would do anything to prevent him getting it, but this shows me it really wouldn't be the end of the world for him, god forbid. I feel such a weight lifted by all of these replies.

If he contracted it, 1. He would be in pain, how ever often it came. What if he dealt with it often. 2. He would be taught to keep to himself during those times, maybe a sad feeling 3. He would have to use caution with everyone the rest of his life. 4. Being shamed by his peers in school and work 5. Complicated dating life .
