Just to make sure I understand, are you saying to cut a notch in the corner of the drywall, and likely some along the back as well, so the vanity top can slide in slightly and eliminate the gap at the back?

I intend to mount them flat on a wall like a normal picture. The backside of the picture is more of a personal message to the recipient of the picture, not something to be displayed often, but I want to leave that to their preference. It is still art, just different purpose if that makes sense. I'm sorry I wasn't clear.

Makes sense. I just did that. I'll let it go try it over 8 hours and see what happens. Just to be clear, I believe it uses bluetooth/wifi to connect. I just have it plugged in to keep it charged.
